This place is not a good place for the elderly. The dog park is covered almost all year in snow. This makes it very dangerous for an elderly adult. The people here are not very nice and are not accommodating to elderly people. The place is very expensive for people on fixed incomes. This place also has false advertising saying it way less than it really is to rent there. The elevator works some of the time making elderly walk up steps. I would not recommend this place. I could go on and on why you should not rent at Affinity at Copper Leaf.

I would tell others about all of the activities that are available, including the enclosed indoor pool & hot tub, as well as the theater. I don't partake in everything, but there are a lot of things to do. My 1 bedroom apartment is wonderful. The only problem I have is that the balconies are useless. They're so small, and you aren't allowed to leave anything out there or do anything out there. I do, however, have a full-sized kitchen - which is huge and I love that. I have a front-loading washer and dryer in my apartment as well. We have all the things you could want: dishwasher, fridge, full sized everything. The apartment is a nice size for the price. The biggest problem is that there's absolutely no single men, but I don't think that's in plan. It does make it kind of difficult for some activities; for example: if you want to go dancing, you can't because there's no one to dance with. Aside from that I have no real complaints. I would and I have recommended Affinity at Copperleaf to others.

This is a good community, but don't expect your maintenance requests to be taken care at all. They seem like they will be trying to take care of the issues, but it never gets done. Maintenance here is horrible overall. I'm happy with the size of my apartment. There are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments available here. This is a 55 and older community.

Affinity was the first place I looked and I fell in love. It is wondaful here and I am so happy. It is a brand new facility and I love my apartment. They have a full time housekeeper who works 5 days a week keeping all the halls and common areas clean. The staff are extremely friendly and interact with residents, it really feels like a community. There are plenty of activities provided, we actually just had our one year anniversary and the owners came down and brought corporate staff and we had a big party. We had food and just had a wonderful celebration. They mingled with everyone and wanted to hear our comments and how we felt about the facility. I love that all of the utilities are included in my rent, internet, cable, everything so I do not have to worry about separate bills. I would highly recommend Affinity and already have to others.

We were able to have an in person tour and everything was super nice and the young man who gave us the tour was wonderful. He even walked backwards down the hallways to still speak with us face to face. The apartments were lovely. However, the distance was just a little to far away from us, but everything we saw was great.
Very clean and offers a wide arrange of options in house. Loved the rooms and everything included. Located in a great area close to great shopping areas.

A Place for Mom has scored Affinity at Copperleaf 8.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
