This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide medical nutrition therapy if prescribed by a licensed health care professional, three daily meals and snacks must be provided, and Food must be prepared in accordance with the recommended daily dietary allowances of the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Academy of Sciences National Research Council. Public assistance is available through Medicaid State Plan. This type of community is required to offer a number of services. These include guidance, being aware of a resident’s general whereabouts, medication management, and assisting a resident to keep appointments.
