Assisted living communities provide supervision, personal care, and social interaction to people around 65 years old. Assisted living communities often offer assistance with transportation and appointments, assistance with daily activities, and chances for social activity. This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as assessment must be updated to meet the ongoing needs of the resident and functional needs assessment. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include reading the medications label, reminding the resident to take medications, and confirming that medication is being taken by the resident for whom it is prescribed.
