I have been pleased with the care my loved one is receiving. There is a real sense of community, this includes the residents and families along with the staff. The staff have been great to work with and communicate with if I have questions or concerns. Field trips, planting of gardens, movies, games, exercises, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents. The community set up a nice anniversary for my loved one and myself. They went above and beyond to make this happen. There is a family night each month in the community. It is a smaller community compared to other communities.Read more
This is a very nice community. The staff are very good there is just a lot of turnover currently and a need for more staff on the memory care side. They have activities like a game room and other things for the residents to do like arts and crafts but I don't see it happening daily maybe once a week.Read more
I moved my Mom to Brookdale Hermitage Boulevard on [date removed]. She'd been at another, larger ALF for the past five years, but was noticeably declining. Since she's been at BHB, she's gained back some of the lost weight, is clean, known by sight and also by her preferences, is treated kindly and with respect, and is obviously very content in her new home. I cannot tell you how relieved I am on her behalf, and how good it is to see my now 97-year-old Mom living in a clean environment, enjoying appetizing hot meals three times daily, playing Bingo, smiling, chuckling at amusing events, and doing gentle exercise from her wheelchair. The bottom line--Mom is being cared for and cared about. She is once again herself. Our family is so glad for her. It truly is THE place for Mom. Thank you, Brookdale Hermitage Boulevard. I'd give you 10 stars if I could.Read more
