Touching Hearts at Home

We previously used home care services for my loved one through Touching Hearts at Home of Goodyear. The staff, friendliness and care services were great. The value for cost was also great. However, my loved one needed more care than this service could provide, so we had to make other arrangements. However, I would recommend Touching Hearts at Home of Goodyear to those who are looking for home care services for their loved one.

Touching hearts at Home is a very good company. Everything is going well for my loved one. I would recommend their services to others looking for Home Care for a loved one.

Perfect fit for my mom. We picked this community, because I found [name removed] info on line, needed companion type help to allow my mom to remain independent. [names removed] have been such tremendous assets, their knowledge and guidance on how to handle my mom and her current situation has been exceptional. The plan that was put into place for my mom has not only been perfect for her but also a gift for my peace of mind and sanity.

If you need anyone to take care of your parents I have the perfect company. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. They show that they care and try to take consideration of everyone in the house. They are very understanding and sympathetic.

I have only used them twice and but I am happy with the results. I have improved so I have not had to use them recently but I would recommend them to others looking.

This is my second time needing the type of services that Touching Hearts at Home provides. A few years ago my mother suffered from dementia and my dad and I needed a break as her caretakers. Unfortunately, at that time, I had not heard of Touching Hearts at Home. Our experience was fine, but nothing compared to the level of service that I am now receiving for my dad. The professionalism and care that Touching Hearts provides is truly unlike anything I've experienced. The owner is very accessible and regularly checks in to make sure that my dad's needs are being met. The individual that visits my dad's home to help him with errands, do his laundry and provide companionship feels like a member of the family. She really seems to care for him and has invested the time to get to know him. When searching for someone to help care for my loved one I don't think that I could ask for more.

I have been with Touching Hearts at Home for several years now. I find The people who run the program to be exceptionally caring about their clients. They are always more than willing to help regardless of what is needed. Occasionally, they make a visit to the home themselves to make sure that everything is going well. I truly appreciate all of them! I have had several cleaning ladies over the years and all have worked out well. I’m impressed with how the supervisors try to match personalities. Cleaning ladies will do whatever I ask and always except my suggestions. I’m truly grateful to have Touching Hearts help me with my daily chores as I have some health limitations. Over the years I have come to know those who run the operation and I find them to be truly loving and caring people. Thank you, Touching Hearts...[names removed]…for making me feel truly cared for! You are wonderful people and do a great job!

If there were more than five stars to give, I would. My parents interviewed three companies and Touching Hearts was absolutely the best. My parents had never had any sort of in home help and Mother took an unreasonable dislike to the first lady who came. It would not have mattered who it was she wasn't going to like anyone. Geri [Removed] instantly found someone else. The kindness and flexibility of Touching Hearts was wonderful. Geri would stop by frequently not only to check on the services provided but genuinely caring and stopping by to visit. If my father's short term memory loss hadn't gotten worse suddenly we would have been happy to have Geri [Removed] oversee his care as long as possible.

My mother just passed away about 2 weeks ago and when she was there. They had 1 cleaning lady there that my mom did not get along with it and they brought in another one. The supervisors there are wonderful.

I became a client of Touching Hearts in December after a very rough transition home after being placed in long term care for the past year. The previous in home health care company left me to fend for myself multiple times a week on very short notice, often it was when I called the company asking where my care giver was halfway into my shift. I had easily 3 to 4 different caregivers a week, who knew nothing about me. Touching Hearts at Omaha is different, I felt cared for from the very beginning.  Geri, came in and quickly set up schedule and care giver that insured I had meals cooked for the day, chores were done, my personal hygiene was completed, and that I felt comfortable with the care plan. Geri cared about me as a person and not as just another client. She has my best interest at heart so I don't end up in another long term care facility. I can't say that for the previous in home care service. I have no doubt that if I would have stayed with them that I wouldn't be home right now. Geri is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to working with Medicaid and League caseworkers. She is a great advocate and keeps everyone informed with the current picture but that the bigger picture is still in the horizon. I'm blessed to have Geri in my life, not only as a supporter but as a friend.

Be careful. My in-laws received a duplicate bill for the first, and only time they used this company. We were told it was a "receipt". It wasn't. Enclosed envelope with a bill. Would have been paid had my wife not reviewed their bills. Not an accident.

The first staff member I had was amazing and everyone after that was horrible. She was everything I needed and she no longer works for them. I would not recommend them to take care of your loved ones.
