My mom had most of the interactions, we only visited outside because of covid, they were good with scheduling visits and bringing him outside for us. Staff seemed friendly from what I was able to gather. Dad was always well groomed when I saw him. They get good marks from what I was able to see from the outside, but I never saw the inside or day to day stuff.

My loved one is happy here, she really likes it. Our family is happy with it, too. Exceptional service from the beginning!

We had a great tour experience with AlfredHouse but the facility was just too big for my loved one, we wanted someplace smaller with more personalized care and consistent staff.

This community has been good at care. Rebecca House is low key but very devoted to doing a good job. They are friendly, respectful of their residents. They try to be helpful. They realize that the residents are in someway handicapped. They are happy and willing to assist the families with ideas for their loved ones.

I would want families to know when looking at Alfred House 1 that it is a place where residents will feel at home where they get loving care. It is a very homey atmosphere. This is a smaller community so the staff members know all of the residents by name and have a better one on one relationship. Our loved one had said when we first saw him after COVID that this place is his home. In non-COVID times, it is family style dining and everyone sits around a big round table and eats together. There is also an option for residents to go next door to listen to live music. Now a days, I think you have to measure a care facility by how they handled the pandemic, what they have learned, and how they have come through this and we have been very impressed and thrilled with Alfred House 1.

They cleaned and mopped the floors and dusted very routinely. The only thing I think they could improve on is that I do wish they cleaned my mother's furniture more often. The staff are very compassionate and they make an effort to get to know the residents. They really get to know the little things that make the residents' stay better. They check on the residents frequently in their rooms, which is a plus. The manager is also very visible. All levels of the staff from the manager down to the care giving staff are very very good. They do offer activities, however we do wish they were a little more frequent. We do think the community is a good value for the price.

Transitioning my father to an assisted living care facility was a difficult decision made very easy just walking in the door at Symphony Alfred House. At the end of his battle with cancer, he required more care than the typical resident here. However, every staff member from nursing aids, administrative and office personnel and even kitchen and admissions staff were constantly at the ready to help with anything we needed at any time. You will not find a lower resident to staff ratio anywhere in town. Everyone went out of their way to work closely with Montgomery Hospice to ease his suffering at the end. We truly could not have asked for better care. Thank you so much!

Everything is working out very well for my father since his move to this community. He is doing well, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. I know he is safe, and in good hands at this community. It has been a positive experience overall.

WONDERFUL PLACE ....... VERY WELL KEPT.

This a great home for men and women who have dementia. The staff is very responsible and kind. The home is very clean and well organized. Family members are welcome anytime. I, myself, would live there. It is also very affordable. My husband seems very content. Thank you Avalon for taking such excellent care of my husband.

I have a sister who is a resident at AlfredHouse. She has many special needs and requires a specific understanding and care. The staff at AlfredHouse has been so accommodating to her needs and always keeps me informed of her needs and progress. The house manager is always available and really cares about all the residents. It is challenging caring for my sister. They have shown much compassion and respect towards her. She is the happiest that she has been in over 15 years. Taking care of the elderly is important and AlfredHouse really steps up to the plate.

Very professional and nice people! They actually care! Adequate staff for the number of residents. I wish they had this option for my mom before she passed. Nursing homes are the worst!

If your loved one has to be in assisted living, the main positive about AlfredHouse is that it has a very homey, family oriented feel to it. It does not feel like your typical institution. The home is in a very nice, safe neighborhood. There are definitely some staff members who are 5's and then are some who are not very nice. When we put my mom in here it seemed there was going to be more activities available and promoted. My mom does not do any of the activities because they do not encourage it. They have a patio and and enclosed space, I think on nice days it would be great if they could take all of the residents outside to get some fresh air. It would also be great if they could use the pet therapy people that we were told about in the beginning.

This community is okay. This community was more expensive but it was a good community and they have different levels of care if needed.

We had a nice tour with AlfredHouse. When we were looking they had limited choices available on memory care rooms. The one they did have was in a separate building and we did not like that set up.

As far as I can tell everything about this facility: the esthetics, the staff, and the meals, all that is very nice. The room that my love one has is tiny, but it’s also because it is a studio. From what I can observe the care my love one is receiving is very good. The property is new and I think it’s about a 35 room assisted living. As of right now is mostly men and the place is not entirely filled up. One negative thing that I will say is the Comcast. We had at least 10 Comcast technicians and supervisors go to that location and we found out that the building is wired wrong. The management team should be on top of that. My love one enjoys listening to “Easy listening” on Comcast and watch shows but it can’t be done because of this. Aside from this, the community is beautiful, the cook is excellent, and the caregivers I talk to love my love one which is the most important thing. I can actually tell that they do care for my love one and their staff to resident ratio is amazing. There is a lot of 1 on 1 attention. Overall I am happy with the community.

When I went to tour Avalon Assisted Living Facilities, we met with Georgia. She was very nice and I guess she has a number of houses. She has one near my area, and she was honest with me. She was not trying to sell us because it would not be the best for my aunt. My aunt has dementia but it is not severe so she would need more interaction than what they would be able to offer her in these homes.

We had a pleasant tour of this community. It was good experience. Everything looked great and very clean. Everybody was kind and helpful. My tour went very well.

We chose this assisted living facility for my mother who has moderate dementia and so needed a secure facility specializing in dementia. She is in the Rebecca House and it's very secure. My mother tends to be pretty critical (that's always been her personality) but says that the staff are very nice and treat her well. I also like the way staff talk to and treat the residents, e.g., with respect and dignity. Staff and owner have been very easy to work with in resolving minor issues and I feel confident they are treating my mother well. The facility serves up to 15 residents and is located in a large home in nice residential area. The decor is not at all fancy and even a bit shabby, but safe and comfortable. Residents have a very small bedroom but there are a number of common areas. There are not a lot of activities, which would be the only real negative. The staff seem to be able to address issues as they arise without having to involve me (which is what I requested). They also have medical staff that visit, which I appreciate. I think my mother is receiving good quality care at Rebecca House, as staff are attentive and kind to her and go out of their way to meet her needs. This was the most important factor for us.
