Many occupants of nursing homes may have behavioral difficulties. These can consist of a tendency to wander, resisting assistance, or verbal outbursts. There are some services that may come at a cost to residents which can include personal clothing, special care services not included in the facility’s Medicaid payment, and specially prepared food.
