About Renee'

Renee’s early background is deep in hospitality starting from being born into a family who owned restaurants and a catering business. As a restaurant manager, she opened 9 restaurants in Canada and the US and enjoyed interacting with customers and training young staff. Being of service is her love language. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management later in life, she moved onto what has become her greatest passion, working with senior citizens. She has worked in the Senior Living industry for 6 years starting as a Community Sales Manager receiving her company’s Senior Properties-Leasing Consultant of the Year award in 2015. She soon became an Executive Director enjoying being of service to her residents and their families while navigating through an intensive property remodel. Renee’ moved on from the Independent Living community to a new community where she developed and lead a team from pre-opening through opening and daily operations of a community. This community served senior residents of all needs from living independently, to assisted living and into memory care. Renee’ is moving away from community operations management and has joined A Place For Mom. This allows her to work more closely with seniors and their families. She enjoys the personal service of working side by side with them through the discovery phase and into a new home where the resident will receive the care that they need and enjoy the fun and social aspects that the communities provide.
