About Kara

Kara’s professional experience in the senior healthcare industry includes Community Relations Manager and marketing for Assisted Living. With a college education focused in marketing, she was able to utilize her education while learning from experience in the field about the senior living industry. Her abundance of knowledge in the industry and passion of helping makes Kara a great resource for families in need of finding individualized solutions.

What I'm passionate about:

I am very passionate about my competitive hobby, running. I have done many mini marathons, a full marathon and now training for my first triathlon. I also enjoy camping and pretty much anything else that gives me a chance to go outside!

A Note From Kara

"I have an educational background in marketing, so that is what initially snagged my interest. However, shortly after starting to work in the industry, I realized there is much more meaning behind what I was doing. I am passionate about helping families find the best solutions for their loved ones, and being a source of information and comfort at a time when families need it most."

Reviews and Testimonials

"I cannot say enough kind words about A Place for Mom and the tremendous quality resource which was given by our Advisor, Kara Jaggers.

I first heard about A Place for Mom as a radio advertisement. In fact, I heard the ad so many times I was sick of it. But when I needed help to deal with mom issues who live in another state, it was the first service to come to my mind.

Our advisor, Kara, kept me from web siting for weeks. She connected me with senior living options in mom’s area that best served our needs and circumstances. Not only did Kara have knowledge but also compassion. And even though I didn’t respond to every phone call, every email…just knowing she was there to make sure everything is going as best as possible is a quality commitment of caring.

Thank you Kara. You and A Place for Mom deserve a 5-star rating."
