Julie’s professional experience within the senior healthcare industry began in 1983. Her vast experience for helping families began in long term acute care as a Hospital Liaison and most recently helping families find their best fit as Community Relations Director for skilled nursing and assisted living communities. Julie comes to A Place for Mom with experience and a passion to help seniors through the difficulties of finding a new community to live. Her extensive knowledge in senior care and housing options, coupled with her passion for helping veterans receive war time benefits, make her an excellent resource in helping seniors and families find the best options in senior living.
My joy comes from being the mother of a teenaged son. We enjoy tent camping, theatre, movies and comedy. We volunteer for Alzheimer’s. We love to laugh!
"Having been a caregiver to a parent with dementia, I learned to find the joy every day. While working in the nursing home and assisted living communities I learned to honor each senior in their moment. My purpose is to make the process as smooth as possible for you, and provide appropriate matches to communities where you or your family will be happiest. When you tour three or four communities I strive to make them the best matches for your family’s needs."
