James began his career in the senior industry as Director of Marketing for an Independent Living and Assisted Living community in Northern California. He was then promoted to Executive Director and oversaw the operations of 2 senior living communities. James moved to Southern California when he was offered a position as Senior Executive Director overseeing the operations of 2 communities offering Independent living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. James joined the senior industry after his aunt was diagnosed with early onset dementia at the age of 60. His knowledge and experience in the senior living industry as well as being a caregiver for a loved one with Dementia allows him to have a greater understanding of the families he is helping.
I have volunteered with the Northern California SPCA, specifically for their senior programs that assist seniors with their pets.( I have 2 rescues dogs that make me smile every day!) I have been an active member of the California Assisted Living Association for over 10 years and have participated in lobbying for Senior Living bills at the Capitol. I have also been an active member of the Alzheimer’s Association.
I am so happy to be in a position to assist families in finding the best senior living options for their loved one. Having in depth senior living experience as well as being a family member that had to place a loved one in Memory care allows me to share my knowledge and experience. My goal is to ensure that every family I assist has an easier time finding their loved one an amazing new home by providing them quality service and knowledge.
