Allison’s experience in the senior living industry includes time previously working as an advisor to families searching for senior housing options. She re-joined the senior industry after the 1st year of struggling to find care, financial resources, and time to support herself, her child, mother and her grandmother living under one roof. Allison’s 65 year old mother suffers from early onset dementia. Her 84 year old grandmother was of sound mind, however, her physical body was failing. All of while Allison was raising a newborn child as a first time mother at in her 30’s. Her knowledge gained through life and professional experience make her an excellent resource to help seniors and their families.
I believe “it takes a village” to actively shape and discover who we are as a person through different stages of life. Through world travel, I gained knowledge of a common ground of different cultures, cuisines, social, medical, and government standards. I helped researched and participated in multiple government grant funded projects, designed for “social and economic empowerment.”
I am passionate about empowering families, decision makers and seniors to make informed decisions. I have firsthand and professional experience regarding the importance of finding the right care plan and resources that are available to you. My goal is to make this process as smooth as possible resulting in a “greater peace of mind.”
