My parents needed to move rather suddenly into assisted living. After our family members had researched options, we chose The Windsor; our parents moved in recently. We are relived that they are safe and have excellent support and care. The staff has been helpful and kind. We believe our parents now have the opportunity to get better, to the extent that they can return to their home in several months. We have no regrets about our decisions and highly recommend The Windsor.... Read more

It is a smaller community that is designed well with residents in mind that are disabled or have memory card needs. They have kitchenettes in the rooms for the residents, and this is designed to have the residents go to the dining room and socialize with other residents. The apartment has a large living area along with the bedroom, as well as the kitchenette as previously stated. I was impressed with the community. They have community volunteer days for the residents to participate in.

My dear friend {name removed} was not feeling very happy and hopeful last year at this time. We moved her into the Windsor late summer where she could have reassurance and care. Pt has been such a positive experience from the front desk, nursing, dining staff (although she doesnt go) and maintenance staff, as well as the in house PT. She is enjoying all the holidays this year and has a much more positive attitude. I am very appreciative and impressed by all the care.
I love living at the Windsor I like the people at the Windsor.
Everything is amazing here at The Windsor.
This is a very well run place with services available to meet all of my needs. I am very happy here because I feel safe my privacy is protected and the staff is wonderful from the management to nurse aide.
Pleased with everything! Wonderful staff
This is a great place to live! Everyone is friendly and helpful. I appreciate the staff and good friends made here.
The staff at The Windsor were so kind and helpful. The residents we encountered on our tour looked so happy and cared for. Perhaps the most impressive part is the facility itself. It is very clean, well maintained, and beautifully designed and decorated. I would love to have my father live here.
{ name removed} my mother aged 90, has been a resident here since 2018. She finds it "elegant". She is happy for which her whole family is grateful.
Very caring and professional attention to my mother. We are so thankful for all the attention an affection she receives. We trust the medical care and supervision she enjoys here- a big relief when I cant be with her.
Good service, friendly people
My parents recently moved in and have been treated with kindness from all the staff. Although the adjustment is not easy, the staff have welcomed them. The meals are yummy's and my parents appreciate the community of the dining room. The Director was very accommodating.
Absolutely wonderful staff. [name removed[ in sales is kind, thoughtful knows how to get residents what they need. I have had a mother in the memory unit. And now both of my in-laws in the assisted living. The best in our area for sure.
My Mother has been living at The Windsor of Gainesville for a couple of years. We are very satisfied with the facilities and staff. The staff always greet her by name when she is out and about. The exercise room is good and Physical Therapists are available on referral. There are activities throughout the day. The facility itself is very, very nice and the administration very professional and friendly.
The care here has saved my mother's life. She entered in a wheelchair and now she sometimes even leaves her walker behind! It is a small community so everyone is known. Even the family members who visit! I believe that this was the only place that could have gotten my mom multiple health needs under control.
The staff at the Windsor Of Gainesville is caring and kind and take excellent care of the residents. My father requires the highest level of care that the Windsor offers, and during the year that my father has been living there, I've made many requests regarding his care and well-being (I admit I'm very particular), and the staff have always done their best to assist and do what's best for my father, which I truly appreciate. When Covid hit and the Windsor had to "lock down", I was very glad my dad was at the Windsor because I knew he was in good hands and would be treated well and with love. The facility itself is new and very well maintained; it always looks and smells clean and welcoming.
My 93 year old mother was at the Windsor for 19 months. First in assisted living and then in memory care. Her car in both were exemplary. I was still there every day to check on her however I knew she was in good hands if I missed a day or 2. I would recommend this organization.
My dad has been at Windsor of Gainesville in FL for about 2.5 years, due to a stroke. Some of the staff go above and beyond, which is very comforting, especially during this pandemic. The facility truly does their best at keeping the residents active and in touch with family. We get emails often with updates on activities they are doing and with status of issues pertaining to covid-19. The facility has been really great at keeping residents and staff safe and healthy. They are very quick to respond to any negative test result; quarantining etc. We are in constant contact with my dad, and staff, if need be (which I think is a must at any facility). If any issues of concern come up we relate that to the proper person and they are good about responding back and helping to get issues resolved, either with suggestions, new protocols in place or simply easing our mind by listening. When skyping, I can see that my dad is being taken care of. He is clean, healthy and in good spirits. Other than hoping we can visit soon in person, I'd say all is good.
This is an excellent facility. I was in a nursing home administrator in Illinois. I was active in the professional group and got to visit many other homes (20 years ago). This facility is excellent. It has a schedule which is followed, so we all know what is planned and can select activities. The staff is exceptional. They know all of our names and likes/dislikes as well as family and friends!
