The staff here were good and the people were nice. It was hard to get around, there was a lot of carpet and I was in a wheelchair and the shower was not handicap accessible. But I did have some issues with the administrative staff with not getting my money back and they were hard to get a hold of. Their promises they made were not kept.
When I first walked in the door I was wowed. It is very clean and brand new. Care givers are compassionate. My husband is a tough customer, he is an old farmer that thinks he is 19 and they are doing a great job with him. He is in a private room and has his own space. He loves the food. They try a lot of activities like cards and trivia which he does there which he never did at home. He likes the virtual cat and dog that they have he pets them and it calms him. I told them that he likes planes and has flown planes so the care givers talk to him about planes and help him looking through his books I have brought in for him. My only concern has been him falling out of bed, but he did that at home as well. I asked about putting a mat down but that was tripping hazard. They are working on good options that meet their guidelines to help with his issue. I can relax knowing that is being taken care of.
