Our Experience
This community is a gold nugget. If the family member is able to live in an "independent living" facility, this is a hidden treasure for sure. I met a new resident who told me that his kids found this place for him and he was nervous about it and thought it was a little pricy but said he was so glad he was there and he didn't mind the price. I told him that I felt the same way for my mother! I searched so many places and it by far has the largest living room! Very clean and everyone I have met are happy and involved there with the community events and each other. They invite my mother all the time. Staff is caring and great!

Dear Belcaro: We had not yet had the chance to meet [name removed] until recently. We had spoken with him via phone (what a witty, caring, kindhearted person) and this was only over the phone. [name removed] is patient, understanding and has an incredible sense of humor along with his caring Heart-of-Gold is by far (THE BEST MANAGER EVER!!). [name removed] has truly made living at Belcaro a little bit of Heaven right here on earth. [name removed] advised us that he hired a new maintenance ([name removed]) person and will begin on a Monday. We could not believe that on [name removed] first day he shows up introduces himself and took care of all the things that needed to be fixed. WOW!! what a wonderful person ?? [name removed] is. My Mother, as well as myself adore both of them. They work hand-in-hand in making sure ALL tenants are taken care of. WHAT A BLESSING [names removed] are. "THANK YOU [names removed] (Manager and Maitenance Extrodinair's) We are truly their biggest fans!!! & "THANK YOU BELCARO !!!

Happy living at The Belcaro
My apartment was very clean, and all of the staff and residents are friendly - very good vibes. When it comes to the care services I have no complaints. With it being independent living there are no meals provided. There are however, a lot of different activities going on. The value for cost is average, about normal for today. A Place for Mom was really helpful finding a place for us to live. [name removed] was especially helpful.

New Management is LAZY
My mother has been living here for several years. it used to be nice and a great place for her. Unfortunately there has been new management in for the last year or so and they are lazy and absolutely unhelpful. they hid in the office with doors closed, they have cancelled all community events (originally due to COVID but have made it clear they will not be bringing them back). No bus to the store, no field trips, no monthly dinner (unless the residents provide it themselves, not bingo or game nights!!!!) THEY DID NOTHING to help the residents during lock down due to COVID. Notices are sent to residents that if they say ANYTHING negative to the management or about them the resident will be evicted and this includes asking why they are not bring stuff back or why management is not doing their job. it has become such a sad place for her to live.

Doesn't have meals. Has elevator. Toured nice newly-refurbished 1BDRM; does have dishwasher. All carpet but walk-in closet and walk-in shower. W/D. People seemed nice. Need to submit app 6 mos before move-in date.

Very Pleased
The past few weeks have been a little hectic trying to settle in and get adjusted to our new way of life but so far we love it. We have a nice apartment and we are able to cook on our own. They offer quite a bit to do and once we feel that we are finally settled we will start pursuing those type of things. The staff and residents have been extremely friendly and nice. The community is well cared for. I believe my wife and I will be quite happy here.

A lot of help when I need it!
I really like this community. The reason why I picked here was because they provide transportation to and from the grocery store. Also that there apartments had there own washer and dryer. I am just now getting used to all the activities that they have to offer. It is enough to keep anyone busy for the whole day. I enjoy the meals and I'm looking forward to there Thanksgiving dinner.

Mom is on a whole new level of happiness. I would rate this facility a 10 if I could. This has made my life so much easier. The staff is great, the meals are great, and the most important part is my Mom is so happy. This was the third place we tried and we love it.

They are awesome. My mom is so happy there.
They are awesome. My mom is so happy there. It's a very good value for what she is getting. There are meals maybe once a week, and she seems happy with those. For the most part it is just an apartment complex but they have a salon and a meeting room and some activities. We never looked any further. It's a very clean, new looking facility, nothing in there looks old. Some of the residents have been there a long time, and they won't leave they are so happy.
