Upon touring the different independent living communities in our city, Rotary Villas was our first choice for a number of reasons. First, it is a secure building 24 hours a day. This was huge for our mom. Second, it had two spacious elevators, not just one. Convenient anytime which made moving in a snap and was not inconvenient for the other residents at any point in their day. Third, fantastic flow of space throughout the building: the moment you walked in, roomy dining room, the hallways, spacious multi-purpose room, library, games room, etc. and I haven't even mentioned mom's beautiful suite yet; which she loves!!! There is lots of space to allow for walkers and scooters throughout the building for those with mobility issues. My mom is really enjoying the meals and especially being allowed to have the choice at mealtimes to sit with different people every day if she chooses. She's enjoying that social connection. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You get a real sense of community when you walk in the door.
