The staff are all very approachable with any questions or concerns that we have had.
The main things that stuck out about them over other places we initially looked at was the staff, the room set up for our situation, and ability for our loved one to have independence when wanted but also many activities provided to do.
I would recommend Rolling Meadows to others.

Located just one block south of Northeast Park in Carroll, Iowa, Rolling Meadows Senior Living is an assisted living community that evokes the essence of peaceful country living. Safely enclosed by a white picket fence, the community’s large front porch invites residents to enjoy the sunshine and bird-watching in good company. Rolling Meadows gets 5 stars all around!

Swan Place Cares
My Dad loves Swan Place. Whenever I speak to him, he can't tell me enough how friendly and caring everyone is at Swan Place. He loves the meals and even after a year of being there, he still can't believe they "They even do my laundry and they keep my apartment clean, too!!"
Our entire family has peace of mind that Dad is safe, happy, fed nutritious meals and is in such a loving environment.

Compassionate Community Recommend For Your Loved One
Swan Place was very helpful and caring in getting my dad in their facility in an emergency situation during the height of Covid. Made the transition easy and he acclimated well. Caring and compassionate people with good communication with the family. We appreciate the extras including rides to doctors. They have a lot of activities. The rooms are very nice as is the entire facility. The only thing we don't understand are the annual price increases seem excessive. Otherwise very happy with Swan Place overall. Would recommend to anyone needing to help their elderly loved ones transition to a facility.

Exceptional Experience
Our experience with Swan Place was exceptional. They assessed him quickly while he was hospitalized, planned for his placement and did everything they could to accommodate his needs. I only regret Dad wasn't able to live at Swan place longer due to deteriorating health and ultimately death.

Really like the layout of the facility! Also like it’s location. Have a few concerns. I understand it has changed management hands frequently, the rooms are smaller then sunnybrook, and the residents weren’t impressed with the food. We were greeted very warmly. Our guide was awesome answering all our questions but she didn’t appear to be as engaged with all the clients as was the marketing rep at sunnybrook who accualtely teared up at the mention of a lost client the day before.

Administrator staff is great. Helping (caring) staff serving bathing, serving meds. Is great in serving and answering questions.
Never needs to be on am. And pm. Hours for questions and teaching both of the staff and residents in variety of medical condition.
Cooling staff caring in giving food for senior citizen and the handicapped. Staff who does activities need lots of help and advice.
I would be glad to answer my questions.

Seem to be a lot of “turnover” staff these post few months. Hopefully this will all make things better. Food is good some days, and not so good other days. I like living here and the staff that stayed are great. Would like a few more activities – more variety. And I love the van rides and picnics.

Swan Place is clean and well cared for with 2 lovely courtyards for enjoyment outdoors.
There are a choice of activities to do.
However, the food leaves much to be desired but may be improving. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A nice community!!
My Mother in law is settling into Swan Place. They offer daily activities that she likes to participate in. She loves the food and the community is kept clean. The staff seem nice, however I do not see them daily. I would recommend this community.
