He had open heart surgery and then got Covid before every leaving the hospital. As a result of the Covid, he was to weak to experience any type of recovery from the rehab and we were forced to find a place that would care for him being he was still completely bedridden. My aunt and I viewed several different facilities before finding the Glenwood home. The home was probably one of the cleanest homes we had viewed and most importantly, there was no foul odors, as was typical in most of the other homes we had viewed. [name removed], the owner was very helpful with putting us in contact with Hospice to ensure my father receives the best of care with his declining health. Brenda, 2nd shift aide/long time employee, is amazing. Very attentative to my fathers needs as well as the other residents. The home celebrates patients birthdays, all holidays with special treats. tea time and bingo.
