She is in a 55+ active community apartment. They don't offer care or food. But it has been an amazing place for her! She has made lots of friends and is very social, which has been great for her Parkinson's. Her 1 bedroom apartment is around 615 sqft. She pays $[removed] for that. It includes community events a few times a week, plus community members have started clubs and host their own events. It seemed like a beautiful community. We asked for one room and for it to have disability hands in the shower. The first apartment was suppose to make it easier for my mom to get around but that request was ignored. Instead, she got another apartment assigned to her that didn't have want was needed. Overall, some of the issues we have had is that deliveries have to be before 6pm or the doors are close. No one can get in, not even EMS and FIRE. I have seen where EMS and Fire has tried to come in but there is no way for them to get in so someone had to let them in. That is a major risk for anyone 55+ and older. Management and other staff has turned over a few times. No one is there just in case of emergency. They don't work past their hours.

A Place for Mom has scored Mera Rhodes Ranch 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
