Make Sure You Thoroughly Know Everyone and Everything in the Community, and Push Them to Be Upfront with You

I wasn't happy with my loved one's room due to us having to ask to have their room cleaned on occasion when we went to visit. Everyone was friendly. There were some changes that happened in the community. There were some information that we weren't told about and it caught us off guard. We found out that the prescriptions for my loved one had to go through the community and it was costing us five times the amount, if we had gotten them a different way. We did stop the prescriptions. The activities director was very good, in my opinion.

MY place for mom

My mother has been there since they opened as Spring Village. I have seen many changes, some good and some worrisome. Most of the worry has been frequent changes in staff and executive directors. However, new startups needing change, is quite normal. So my rating is 5 star. They have wonderful care and wonderful caregivers. My mother seems very content and loves the active things to do all day long. If you are thinking of placing a parent in memory care start with Maple Ridge.

Work in Progress

It is still a work in progress for my mother with her move to this community. She is still adjusting, but she is doing okay. It has been an interesting process. They do a have a nice staff at this facility. They are kind when I come to visit her. This is a new facility so there still much to be desire ,as far as the appearance. However they do a good job with keeping her room, and the facility well maintained. They do provide nice meals, and have nice meals available for residents. I still need some more time before recommending this community, we are still in adjustment process.
