Oh, so much nicer, cleaner, friendlier, and caring than previous nursing home experiences this last 6 months. They had 5 stars but can't imagine where they got them. Barss is the very best and my husband is blossoming here where he was deteriorating at previous one. It was worth the waiting list.... Read more

Our family had an in person tour and at the time it was brand new, at the beginning of covid an empty. However, it was beautiful and nice, but our father had just passed away and our mother was not ready to move into a place she did not recognize.
The best place one can find. Love it

This is one of the better ones. You feel like your in a home, and most staff are great. Like any others, I always have 1 or 2 i'm not comfortable with. I do like the fact that the owner does work just like his staff. Always out doing things with the residents.

Mom had more memory issues and she wasn't the typical Azleheimer's patient because she had a stroke that caused her to have speech issues. It didn't have as many private areas, it was very nice, if you had someone that had more of their wits about them it was a very nice place. It was more expensive but mom needed something more downsized. It was very nice if you could afford it and I would recommend it if you had someone that had their wits about them but had physical needs. I think it would be great for them because they could go out and walk, but they were supervised.
