<p>Jim and Patti Jones of East Menlo street is one of three memory care communities located in Mesa, Arizona. We reside in a lovely brick, ranch-style home surrounded by green landscaping and large shade trees. Since the 1980s we have offered our residents a place to relax and call home, and we are equipped and certified to care for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. We provide a myriad of community amenities while keeping our residents safe and healthy. Let us spoil your loved ones at Jim and Patti Jones of East Menlo!</p> <h3>Amenities</h3> <p>When it comes to your choice of living quarters, ground floor units and private rooms are available. Accessible showers are also an option, for those with wheelchairs or limited mobility. Free parking is available at our East Menlo location. We are proud to offer pet care for our residents' beloved pets, and cats are allowed in our residents' private quarters.</p> <h3>Dining</h3> <p>We offer home-cooked meals to all our residents and take care in accommodating dietary needs such as vegetarian or Kosher options. Meals can be taken to your room in private or experienced together in our dining room.</p> <h3>Activities</h3> <p>Our community includes curated on-site activities that stimulate both mental and physical health, such as games, crafts, and life celebrations of all kinds. Regularly scheduled off-site adventures and excursions are very popular with our residents. We work hard in our home to tailor activities to each individual resident's personal interests and life experience.</p> <h3>Common Areas</h3> <p>Our community is secured to ensure our residents are safe and protected. Residents have access to our communal living spaces which also includes a hot tub and swimming pool. We are happy to provide outdoor leisure hours, and outside common areas are designed for safety and ease of movement for all of our residents. WanderGuard Bluetooth wander management is also employed to ensure the safety of all residents.</p> <h3>Bilingual staff</h3> <p>Spanish speaking staff are employed by the Jim and Patti Jones community to provide a greater ease of communication between staff members and residents of varying linguistic backgrounds.</p> <h3>Personal Services</h3> <p>We have a beautician and barber conveniently located on-site so residents can easily receive beauty and grooming treatments for all occasions and needs. Our community also provides complimentary transportation services to all of our residents, and we are conveniently located near public transit stops. With our high staff-to-resident ratio, we are able to give the attention needed to fulfill each resident's daily needs.</p> <h3>Medical Care Services</h3> <p>Our staff is available 24 hours a day to assist your loved one with any time-sensitive needs that may arise, such as insulin injections and incontinence care. Our community staff includes registered nurses and licensed practitioners. We offer 2-person assisted transfers, including sitting-to-standing, standing-to-sitting, and all other activities of daily living (ADLs). We recruit first-class visiting podiatrists whose job it is to ensure our residents are happy, fit, and comfortably mobile. A doctor is always on call to handle adjustments in medication, continued consultation, and urgent medical needs when they arise. A dentist pays regular visits to our home to care for our resident's dental needs. Our residents and their loved ones can schedule reminders and exceptions for both medications and care activities. On-site hospice care is provided where needed, and short-term respite care is also available, which is perfect for those recovering from a hospital visit, an interim during which a caregiver takes an extended vacation, or simply to experience a senior living trial period.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Jim and Patti Jones is licensed as an <em>Assisted Living Home</em> with <em>Directed Care Services</em>, and includes <em>Memory Care</em> certification.
