My mother is very happy at Iris Place. There is a nice mix of residents. The employees are helpful and courteous, the food is of good quality, and the grounds are pleasing. The activity room needs redecorating, but the many activities include live music for dancing and enjoyment.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
Do NOT put your loved one into this facility! Although we found the service staff very nice, the manager is unprofessional and most of the time missing in action. It is old, dusty with black mold coming out of the air vents. Leaky roof, appliances that don’t work and take weeks to be replaced! We moved my mom in because it was the only option at the time. Now that she needs assisted living we’ve given her 30 day notice which is what it says is needed in the contract but they are still charging us another full months rent! My mom is 92 and cannot afford this much less the anxiety it is creating for her. I repeat, do NOT move someone you care about into this poorly run, decrepit place!Reviewed on A Place For Mom
My mother lives at Iris Place. We have been very happy with our experience for over 10 years. My mother was very active in the beginning and took advantage of many activities and outings. If you want to be active, you can be. The staff is very friendly. The ground are immaculate. There are beautiful sidewalks that you can follow all around the community's 20 acres. My mother has more needs now, so we bring in independent caregivers for those needs. It takes an hour and a half to eat at lunch, however they are feeding over 100 people at each meal. Overall we are very happy with Iris Place, and would recommend it to seniors as a great place to live.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
