My loved one is a resident at Holiday The Stratford and the experience has been great so far! Friendly staff all around at this facility. Spaces are clean. The meals are good quality. Love the option of Bible studies and services. The move in process was a bit slow (didn't happen the first day and we had questions regarding the emergency device). I a little dated, but still nice. I believe your pricing is in line with the facility. My mother has the means to pay a premium, especially when she gets into assisted living and beyond as she has a long term care policy that pays out quite a bit. If that were not the case, this would have been a good fit. She's got a 1200sqft, 2/2 for $[removed]/month. One meal a day and the food is very good from what I have experienced. I believe the services provided are about the same between the two. Nothing wrong with your facility at all. And Christine was very nice and obviously good at her job.

July 11, 2023Thank you for sharing your positive experience! Please don't hesitate to reach back out for any more information!
There is a table with tea and lemonade, sometimes snacks (fruit) that should be available between meals but they take it all up at end of meal. I've complained but nothing changed. Employees are mostly helpful but inconsistent or unavailable, especially management. Use of transport van is more limited than other places though the driver did accommodate when I went thru other means than manager. Many residents are not happy with meals, management says regular chef out on medical leave but long time. There should be more than 1 elevator for building size.

The food has been one of the major complaints from my Mother. They serve sandwiches for dinner frequently, with brown wilted lettuce. The activities wained for a few weeks. They need more BINGO. The apartment sizes are good enough size wise.

We toured with Holiday The Stratford and they were short staffed when we were there and it was not as clean in my experience. These were the reasons we did not choose this facility.
It's been very good interaction with the staff. My loved one loves the food and fits in well. They offer a lot of activites, such as; get togethers, puzzles, worship, fellowship, and singing. It's very good value for the money and I would recommemd to other people. We picked this community, because of the location. They were very accomading, as far as the move in, and it was very easy. They also have the ability to have pets.

The gal who showed us around at The Stratford was AWESOME - she gets all 5 stars. She was great. If my mom were more independent, this facility would have been our first choice by far. But unfortunately, she just needed more assistance than they provided.
I discovered the day I moved that my apartment was never cleaned from the last resident. Bathroom was dirty with [removed] on back of toilet, soap scum in shower and stuff all over bathroom and closet doors. The food here is absolutely disgusting. Most people here have complained daily about the food service. Dinning room floors are disgusting and rarely get mopped. I would think twice before moving in here.

It's a safe facility. It's clean and people are helpful. The food is good. It is pricey but all are and this one is cheaper than others. My loved one and I would like more veggies. Activties are good however my loved one does not take part often enough to judge.

Went on a tour and it was phenomenal everything was wonderful. Mother really loved it.
Based on our tour, The Stratford seemed okay. But the facility was a little older, and overall they just didn't click for us.

I feel safe and that my family member here is safe and well cared for. All though the place could use a few updates. I have seen the activity calendar and they have work out, games, movie events and more for the residents to do to stay busy .

We had a good tour experience at The Stratford. The facility was older, but the apartments were still nice. They just didn’t provide the kitchen facilities that my mother would have wanted in her apartment.
Very good
I have been here for two weeks. I love it and also the people that is here. I'm learning day by day.
Nice place with friendly people and staff. We definitely need more staff. The under staffing has resulted in poor service and poor support in dining and cleaning service. The present staff need it thank you for what they do.
We are very pleased with The Stratford .Wonderful activities and director. Facility is in dire need of upgrades though especially showers. Food services need to be more consistent. Meals are sparce at times.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is always plenty of activities.
I generally like living here. I think it is well managed. Food is usually good. It is expensive.
