My mother has been a resident of Haven Home for over a year and she couldn't be happier. We moved her there from a nursing home facility where she was very depressed. She came to Haven Home limited to a wheelchair. In a matter of days she was up and using her walker again. Physical therapy provided there greatly increased her abilities. She enjoys her private room which affords her time to read or watch her favorite TV programs without interruption. The home is clean, the staff has been wonderful and she has never complained about the meals.... Read more

Be sure when you give your deposit for your loved one to enter Haven Home that is what you are going to do. My mother was set to go in here and got very ill and put on oxygen 24/7 and had a big turn for the worse where I had to quit my job to stay home and care for her and they refuse to return deposit. After many phone calls with Robyn not answering or returning messages I had to go see an attorney and after giving them another chance to respond they only returned half of deposit and the rest they charged for days my mother wasn't even to enter there yet. Robyn just has staff say she is not there or in meetings and then my last try she said check is in the mail. That was 2 weeks ago. Understandable the $350 app fee was not being returned, but the deposit should be. They are very rude and don't want to deal with anything honestly. They will not let you speak to the owners they want to remain anonymous

The attentiveness, care, and support is far more than expected, along with the eagerness of the staff to help in any situation.
I feel like my Grandma has won the lottery to be able to live at Haven Home. Robin the manager is so loving and caring with her residents. She is also great at communicating, being open about everything and answering any and all questions that you may have. The staff at Haven Home are all very kind and helpful as well. When you arive at Haven Home the first thing you notice is that it is a cute little yellow ranch with maroon shutters and front door. When you walk inside there are beautiful cathedral ceilings along with a cream and light pink interior. It is very warm and cozy there and it is also very clean and the only smell is the wonderful food that they cook for their residents. My Grandma's room is very spacious and private. They want you to bring as many personal things as possible to help make this new place feel like home. They also allow you to hang any pictures or decorations that you would like as well. My Grandma moved in and said thank you and she was very happy. I really could keep going on about how wonderful I feel this place is but I'm sure you get the picture by now. :) Thanks again to Marion at A Home for Mom. We could not have done this without your help!!
Smaller independant facility that is not able to care for someone that has little to no body strength, or not able to transfer from wheel chair to another spot.
PT and OT onsite. Wonderful facility, great philosophy with the staff, friendly and alert residents. Definitely more institution, but warm and lovely. Cons: No room & insulin shots and blood sugar check self-administered only.
