My loved one rated the food as being hard to chew. The head nurse acknowledged that the same complaint has been submitted by other residents. Activities for my loved one were non-existent. After 62 years of running his own concrete construction company, he was not interested in bingo, movies, wii bowling, line-dancing, cocktail parties or whatever other silliness was offered. He just wanted to work and feel useful. The value for the cost was good. Grand Villa does seem to have a fair amount of employee turnover, which I found frustrating whenever I needed to talk to nursing staff or accounting staff.
