About the community

Good Samaritan is a care home providing assisted living services to southwest Missourians. We’re guided by a simple, heartfelt philosophy: “Our family is dedicated to your family!” Our understanding of this difficult time of transition makes us ever-compassionate with you or your loved one. We can even be flexible with pricing for those in need. You’ll find our countryside setting and cozy, homey living areas are welcoming like an old friend. For over a decade, our home has provided services and amenities to support the well-being of residents while they relax into the ease of retirement living. Recently renovated in 2012, we can house up to ten adults ages 55 and above. Our thoroughly vetted and trained caregivers support residents in their independence, always ready to lend a helpful hand or encouraging word. Through continuing education and mentorship, staff learns more every day about senior living so we can always make today even better than yesterday. The whole place is awesome

We chose Good Samaritan Asssited Living because of the value for your money. The room sizes here are comfortable. It is also a smaller community so the staff members have time for each of their residents. They don't seem to be complaining about the food so it must be good. My favorite part about the community is one of the owners, he is awesome. I would recommend.

Brother is in the perfect place

We love the fact that my brother is in this smaller community. It is just a good fit and the staff knows how to communicate with him. He needs supervision at all time because he can get very agitated due to his alzheimer's and the staff is so kind and friendly and very responsive. They have 3 great and tasty home cooked meals with snacks in between, and they take the time to feed him. It is clean and there are never any odors. I recommend this community.
