Fairfield Glade is a very clean community, ad the staff members overall have been very friendly. We have seen them take care of the residents who have incontinence issues, we know they help bathe our loved one and help our loved one put their socks and shoes on which is a big struggle. The meals are mediocre, not anything special. It is a lot of home type cooking but it varies day to day, some of the days are good and others not so much. There are only about 14-15 residents there so they do get a lot of one on one attention, but there are not activities going. There is not much stimulation, they are focused and limited to pretty much care taking. I would compare Fairfield to a larger group home setting, it is geared more towards having loved ones near by the community so they can come and take their loved ones out periodically do to things.
Our experience with Fairfield Glade has been a very good one, my loved one has settled in very well here! The staff is friendly and they do a great job looking after the residents. I really like that they let the residents keep their own schedule, my loved one can wake up whenever he likes and then order what he wants for breakfast! They also do a good job with the food! It's just a very nice place, overall.
