I am currently a resident at Crescent Park Senior living and overall things have been good for me at this facility. The staff here are amazing. The housekeeping is as they promote it. The move in process was smooth for me and well organized. The food preparation leaves a little to be desired. In defense of the facility, it is a very difficult time to hire for the full range of employees. The kitchen staff work really hard to make dinning an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this facility. I believe it is one of the best in our community.... Read more

The staff at Crescent Park is exceptional, from the administrator to the housekeepers. The administrator impressed us on the first day, as she was out cleaning cobwebs off of the façade, and she isn’t afraid to pitch in and help serve meals, pick up dirty dishes, whatever it takes, the staff is all friendly and warm, and capable. I am enjoying living here and plan to stay as long as I am healthy.

July 18, 2023Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate you sharing what your experience living here is like with others.
Everyone at Crescent Park Senior Living is very friendly, and in a short period of time, my father came to feel like they were his extended family. I would recommend it to others looking or independent living.

May 25, 2023Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate the feedback.
Crescent Park is awesome. The executive director [name removed] and the sales director [name removed] goes above an beyond. For example, When they had all of the families down for thanksgiving, all of the staff members were serving the food for the big group. I have only seen the studio apartment, but for a studio it is pretty big. They have cameras and monitor those cameras 24/7 and that is really important. It gives you a sense of safety. It is kind of expensive, but they provide so much and it is a great place. I would definitely recommend Crescent Park to others looking.

January 9, 2023Hi Jeanne, thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review. We appreciate the kind words! We hope you have a great day!
Our family had an in person tour and the lady who led the tour was almost to overly friendly and bubbly and for what they had to offer the pricing was to high. They did have a decent outdoor area and a nice trail that did circle the community with blueberry bushes, but it was off a busy street.

January 18, 2023Hi Customer, we wish your experience could have been better, but appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Have a great day.
I have nothing but great things to say about Crescent Park Senior Living! We moved my (almost) 95 year old mom from a lifetime of living in San Diego, after she suffered a major stroke. Everything about Crescent Park has been a great experience from the facility itself, to the many offerings of amenities, the meals, the activities, the grounds and most especially the Staff! Everyone is wonderful and willing to go the extra mile to be accommodation and caring. They work as a team and have created true community for all, residence, family and staff alike. They have navigated the pandemic with thoughtful consideration and it has resulted in a safe and healthy environment. There is always a joyful vibe and they are always planing and preparing to make the livability and fun a priority. We are so grateful. I would give 10 stars if I could!

This was a nice community. Crescent Park is on a busy street in a developed area and not as spacious grounds.

What an improvement over our previous residence. Management is fantastic. Of course, there is room for improvement, but the residents are great and friendly and staff is great. Food could be improved a little, but has a good variety and always hot! Dining room staff is always wanting to please,

I visited Crescent Park twice, once on my own and once with my mother. Both times, [name removed] was friendly and welcoming and I could tell she really knew and had a connection with the residents we ran into while touring. Although my mom did not end up choosing senior living, I appreciated the time [name removed] spent with us and thought the facility was beautiful, well-maintained and comfortable. I hope my mom will consider it in the future if her needs change.

My wife and I were finding it difficult to maintain our conventional home and motorhome. So, we sold everything, did our due diligence, and decided to live at Crescent Park Senior Living. It's not the cheapest place in town, but we were lucky and the math works for us. Anyway, no regrets and were looking forward to having a great place to live and doing some traveling.

We had a great tour experience with Crescent Park. The staff were so friendly and this was definitely our second choice. The only downfall is they do not have washer and dryers in the unit and this was crucial for my mom. But they did a great job showing us everything they had available and explaining it all.
Response from Crescent Park Senior Living
February 28, 2022Hello, Thank you so much for the great review. We think there must have been some misunderstanding. Washer and dryers are available in all of our apartments. Please contact us and let us know if we can be of help.
The staff is helpful with anything I need. They are friendly and do anything they can to make things easier for us. I appreciate the cleaning they do, and how how they provide clean linens. They have been very proactive in protecting us from COVID 19. I thoroughly enjoy the exercise classes and other activities. They also arrange for small concerts and entertainers to lighten our outlook. Hopefully, when the staff shortage is resolved, we will get back to better food service. COVID disrupted everything. Altogether I am extremely happy with Crescent Park.

I’m early in my exploration of senior living options in the Eugene area,. First I met the Sales Director for a delicious lunch in the private dining room. I was impressed with the variety and freshness of the offerings, and the flexibility of the all-day meal plan. They have a “happy hour” several times a week, and rotating off-campus activities available. It appears that Crescent Park is keeping up with trends that will appeal to baby boomers like myself! The walk to the 1-bedroom sample apartment gave me the chance to see residents enjoying the library and other public spaces. Everything was clean, well kept and odor free. The apartment’s balcony was inviting, with room for a small table and lawn chairs. The bathroom was ample with a walk-in shower with foldaway bench. It looked very safe. The bedroom and living room did seem small. The full kitchen gives another option for independence. Crescent Park will be on my list as I get closer to choosing an independent living home.

Crescent Park has great activities, but unfortunately due to our loved ones mental and physical health they were not able to participate. We ended up taking our loved one out just because they needed more assistance and a more appropriate fit.

Response from Crescent Park Senior Living
December 10, 2021Hello, Thank you for leaving us a nice review. We do hope your loved one found a more appropriate fit. Let us know if we can ever help in anyway.
My mom in her mind needs little to no assistance with daily life, but in reality as she gets older and her memory declines she does needs some assistance no and then to get through the day. Even though Crescent Park is a independent senior living community the staff from housekeeping, the kitchen all of the way to senior leadership at Crescent Park give her the assistance, time, care and respect which makes her feel she is important and belongs in the community. Each time I am with my mom at Crescent Park I sense they all know my mom and genuinely care about her and are always willing to spend the time necessary to assist her with whatever assistance is requested. I, along with my family are extremely pleased and comfortable with mom living at Crescent Park Senior Living.

Response from Crescent Park Senior Living
February 12, 2019Hi, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Crescent Park Senior Living! We hope to see you soon!
I feel that I have an obligation to inform the public about our tragic experience we had at Crescent Park in Eugene Oregon. The reason we chose this facility was they convinced us they were very safe. The guide showed us all the pull cords and alert beeper necklaces and said they had a huge amount of employees . What they didn't tell us was that they were trained to NOT HELP in a time of need. Because of possible liabilities. ??????!!!!!!! So on my dad's second day there, he invited his grandchildren and myself to join him at the weekly prime rib dinner the facility put on. He grew very quiet after he took a bite and I realized he was choking . I tried to pull him up to perform the Hiemlich manuver. Immediately i started shouting for help, there were many employees near by. NONE OF THEM WOULD HELP. THEY TOLD US THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO HELP. THEY HAD BEEN TOLD IF THEY HELPED THEY WOULD BE FIRED OR DISCIPLINED. THEY COULD ONLY CALL 911 AFTER THEY ASSESSED THE SITUATION. By the time help came my dad was already brain dead. Taken off life support two days later. He could have been saved. I feel that all should know the truth before putting your loved ones lives in the hands of these people who promise to take care of them. The reality of most facilities is frightful. My little girl has nightmares about her Grandpa. They were planning many more Monopoly games. How can people turn their back when someone needs help.

Response from Crescent Park Senior Living
November 22, 2018Thank you for taking time to offer your opinion. As we then expressed to you and your family, we were stunned and saddened by the sudden passing of your father. Also, as we most assuredly explained to him, to you, and to all concerned prior to his move-in, Crescent Park is an Independent Living facility for ages 55 and older. We offer private residence living, as well as dining, activities, and other lifestyle amenities. We are not licensed to offer emergency health care or skilled nursing intervention should an independent resident become incapacitated. Dining room and concierge staff are neither trained nor equipped to intervene in medical emergencies. Emergency call systems are provided for residents to assist them in summoning 911 should they need emergency care. In this case our staff summoned 911, relayed instructions, and remained in contact until they arrived. Your unfortunate statements that we were uncaring or refused to help your father are unfair and inaccurate. We provide the housing and amenities chosen by our residents and their families, and accurate information regarding how any healthcare they might need can be independently obtained while residing in our independent living community. If skilled nursing care may be needed due to ill health or chronic condition, families may seek appropriate facilities and living arrangements elsewhere in their area. As we expressed to you and your family, we were saddened by the sudden passing of your father and offer our sincere condolences. If you care to discuss all of the specific circumstances of this situation, please contact our Executive Director personally at [removed].

A Place for Mom has scored Crescent Park Senior Living 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
