We were pleased with our experience at Valley View Gardens. We chose it because of the location, the friendly staff members, and the activities provided. The room sizes here were good for her needs. I think that their communication with families was very strong. I would recommend to others looking.
We wanted to thank you and the staff for so gracefully and beautifully taking care of Grandma and especially all the interactions you all had with her. We loved attending all the functions throughout the year, bingo, singalongs and of course the food and drinks, Grandma so enjoyed the entertainment. We will stop by occasionally to say hi but mostly, from the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all the staff for always keeping us posted with Grandmas ups and downs, pictures and all functions. Please let us know when you have functions, we would like to stop by when possible. Best Regards

Thank you Debbie and Leonard! We so appreciate you taking the time to tell other families about your experience. We know this has been a difficult time for families and we can't wait for everyone to be able to visit with their loved ones. Until then, we will pass your thoughts to our staff and thank you for being a part of our Valley View community!
The staff were great very friendly. The front office was beautiful and smelled great but when you got to the living quarters, the odor was unpleasant. The caregivers were wonderful but seemed understaffed. The food was absolutely horrible and it was disgusting We chose this community for the location and the friendliness of the staff. There were so many residents there and not enough supervision . It was completely chaotic. The families need to visit frequently to advocate for proper care. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were big and spacious.

Thank you for sharing such kind words about our community, we will pass them onto our staff!
We really loved our tour of Valley View Gardens. Both [name removed] and [name removed] were fantastic and they really understood the challenges we have been facing with other facilities that are just not equipped to deal with dementia patients. We have decided to move our father in, once he gets out of the hospital.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience visiting our community; we appreciate your feedback and are so happy to hear your father will be joining Valley View Gardens!
Valley View Gardens is a cheery, sunny place. Caring for dementia patients is a tough job, and the staff works hard to support its residents. The caregiving staff is patient and works with residents even when they are having a bad day. Activities are offered during the daytime hours, featuring music, art, memory activities, and exercise. The parties are fun and facilities are well maintained. The big great room is usually a cheerful place filled with friendly people. Thanks, Valley View!

We think this community is pretty special too! Thank you for sharing those kind words with us.
We, my sister and I, liked this place but the only drawback was the size... it will accept 69 residents... too big for my honey.
I went and did a walk in tour last week and I was greeted by [name removed] she immediately notice i was in distress and offered me a hug, [name removed] is very kind, I was so happy doing my tour resident was engaged but most of all it was clean, i walk passes a tail man cleaning a room and he smelled at me and i new then i could place my father there.
This place is terrible. The management is terrible and there are residents leaving left and right. The director has no business holding the position. They take no responsibility, they just give you verbal words and there’s no follow through or back up. Just as one example, something happened with my loved one where they wound up in the hospital for 6 hours alone. We gave them 4 different numbers and they only contacted one and left a voicemail that wasn’t received until early the next morning. We tried to talk with management about it and all they said was “we’ll look into it and get back to you.” My loved one has lost a significant amount of weight since being there as well. They said they would be monitoring my loved one’s weight while they were living there, but they never told us about the weight loss because they never monitored it. I told them about my loved one’s inability to eat hard foods and it took them several days to get food that my loved one could actually eat. The facility has a huge turnover rate and they’re always short staffed. Anytime I try to make a complaint or voice my concern, they don’t do anything. It all just gets brushed under the table. That I know of personally, there are 3 residents that have already left and 2 more that will be leaving. The management there shouldn’t even be in charge of dogs, they don’t do anything. The place is awful and I feel horrible for the residents that are still there.
