Be careful if you are thinking of using this service
About a month ago I contacted Compassionate Home Caregivers to make arrangements for a person to come to my home to help look after my wife, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. Following a 20 minute interview on the phone, I was told that I would be contacted later that day, or the following day at the latest, by [name removed] , the owner of the agency, who would personally help me find the care I needed. Now, weeks later, I have still not received the call back that was promised me. Fortunately, I was able to find the help I needed from a different agency. I don’t know why Compassionate Home Caregivers has behaved toward me in this way. Maybe they were simply unable to find someone to provide the services I needed on the days and times I needed them, but that still does not explain why they didn’t just tell me that rather than continuing to make me believe that they were both ready and able to fill my request without any further wait. I am not the sort of person that goes out of my way to criticize others on the Web, but the way Compassionate Home Caregivers has treated me at a time when I was desperate for help is so outrageous that I feel it is my duty to warn anyone who is thinking of turning to them for help. These are not reliable people. They are not trustworthy. Be very careful, and good luck!

Compassionate Homecare Problems
I have had a terrible experience with this company. Poor communication has been the major source of the problem. Them owner does not respond timely to concerns and sometimes does not respond at all. The caregivers sent were not suited to my family member's needs and illness. One had transportation problems and I gave her a ride frequently. Another used household items regularly without asking and brought her child by the home in a rather pushy way. There was no opportunity at all to express or discuss concerns with the owner as time went on.
