About the community

Senior living outside the home can be large, distant, and impersonal. That’s why we decided to bring senior living HOME! At Commonwealth House, we strive to make sure that feeling of living at home never leaves you; you may be away from home, but you are always at home at Commonwealth House.

Commonwealth House feels like an upscale residence because it is in fact just that, situated in a residential neighborhood in beautiful Warwick, Rhode Island. We are owned and operated by a local Warwick family and are a proud member of the small business community here. Before we converted it to an Assisted Living community in 2016, it was the home to generations of the same loving family. Now we have brought a new family to this house, and are excited to see new generations grow and thrive here.

At Commonwealth House, it is our goal to provide care that most closely resembles what one would find at home with family. Our skilled staff is fully licensed in their field, but at the same time, they are given the freedom to engage our 10 residents as people, not numbers. Our small scale allows us...

Definitely a Place to Call Home!

Commonwealth House Assisted Living is small-scaled one of a kind community tucked away in a residential neighborhood with all the comforts and feel of being in your own home. In searching for an Assisted Living community for our mom, Commonwealth House hands down checked every single box on our checklist when choosing the best possible place for our mom. Owners [name removed] are remarkable owners who have left no stone unturned both inside and outside the home. They are extremely hands on and go above and beyond in providing every aspect of care, and bringing happiness and the utmost best possible quality of life to every resident. Even during these most trying times [name removed] kept us as connected as possible while strictly adhering to all state guidelines to ensure the safety of every resident. So if you are looking for an Assisted Living community where you or your loved one is not just another face in a building full of people but rather a place to call home in an actual home where you are truly cared for then I highly recommend Commonwealth House Assisted Living.

A unique and lovely environment

This small boutique style assisted living is perfect for my mother who is very elderly. It is easy for her to navigate the space. It is unique in that it provides a personal touch to communal living. The owners, [name removed], treat the clients as family members, and are attentive to their individual needs. The staff is quick to call me with any pertinent information regarding my mother. They are accessible at all times to talk with either by phone or text. It’s also a lovely facility with a beautiful patio and backyard for residents....Such a positive environment for residents! My mother feels very safe, secure, and comfortable, all the things you would want in a facility.

The best place ever!

My mother stayed at Commonwealth House numerous times when my husband and I were away (normally she lived with us). Commonwealth not only provided excellent care but they created an environment that you felt at home in whether visiting for a few weeks or living there full time. My mom found the meals delicious and could be altered based on likes and dislikes. Staff and other residents were warm and friendly and very welcoming. If you are unable to stay in your own home this is the next best option - truly a great find for us!

The [name removed] who own Commonwealth House are amazing people! They go above and beyond what any assisted living facility might do. We are grateful to have our mother residing there, and the extra care this small and unique facility provides.

A great place for Mom and Dad

The owners and staff at Commonwealth House are a blessing. Warm, inviting and competent, and always available to talk to families, this is absolutely the best, home-like environment for my 93 yo mom.
