ComForCare Home Care - South Indy is a franchised 24/7 home care company, specializing, but not limited to, dementia clients and adults of all ages.

Finding a trustworthy, experienced, and compassionate team of home caregivers can be an intimidating process. How should you go about choosing the right caregiver? The team at ComForCare prides itself in providing the best senior care in the greater south Indianapolis area, including Beech Grove, Camby and Plainfield. We strive to deliver top-notch care at the hands of our specially-trained caregivers. If you or your loved one is in need of quality senior care in the comfort of your own home, call us today to begin your personalized care plan.

Personalized Care Plan

We know that each person is unique in his or her own special way. This is especially true when providing home care services. We never use a 'one size fits all' approach to home care. Each client will receive a visit from a registered nurse (RN), who will interview the individual and his or her loved ones. The interview will include an in-home evaluation of the individual as well as his or her living environment.

Based on this evaluation, we will create a personalized home care plan based on each client's needs and wishes. We strive to provide just the right amount of care: not too much, not too little. This way, clients can maintain their sense of personal independence and comfort.

We offer senior care services such as, but not limited to:

* Grooming and hygiene assistance
* Help with bathing and toileting
* Meal planning and preparation
* Senior transportation and errands
* Medication reminders
* Safety supervision and planning
* Light housekeeping services
* Senior companionship
* Family respite and care assistance

We are we successful? Because we take a front-loaded, high-touch approach to care. We strive hard to be company you could refer your friends and family to. To do that, we work hard to maintain consistency and operate ethically.

  • Had a few issues with the caregiver they sent

    I used ComForCare for my Mom briefly. The service itself was fine. However, the caregiver fell asleep on two different occasions and then asked my mom if it was okay. During the time we used them, the caregiver was able to help us with getting my Mom’s meals ready. From what the owner had told us, we were under the impression that they would be doing more than just sitting around and watching TV. But that’s exactly what they did. They would rinse the dishes from breakfast, watch TV with my Mom, and then leave. The owner was a little strange at times, as well. During our first meeting, she talked a lot about her own illness and what her family went through, which made it difficult on me and my brother since everything was time sensitive. She was nice, but I think she needs to figure out how to go about meeting with families without overwhelming them with her own issues. At the end of the day, the caregiver was nice and arrived on time. It definitely helped me and my brother in being able to do the things we needed to do. They were able to take care of my Mom and that was all that mattered. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the same branch that I used, but I think ComForCare is a good company, depending on which franchise you go with.
