Not what was expected
My mom has dementia, if your loved one is not subdued on medication, or in there rite mind and just need assistance, this is not the place for them. We were told she could have her coffee, milk. Within a week they would not allow her to have either claiming she would have diarrhea, this was never an issue at home. Before moving in we told them mom normally goes to bed between 10-11 pm. Not a problem, then next thing they told me they were in bed by 8pm.(mom has pain and can’t be in bed that many hours)There are several home care people who have been with my mom for several years. When they came to see her there they were not treated well. (Nurse, therapist,NP, phlebotomist)One went there and mom was in bed at 5:15 pm. this has happened, on several occasions. Her recliner is electric to lift her legs, they put legs up and unplug the chair, leaving her alone in her room with the door covered. They have taken everything she enjoyed, and broke her spirit. Home cooked meals they said ?

Not the best experience
we toured this place for my mother couple of months ago, no sign out side, and no staff other than owner. We visited the neighborhood couple of times. The price was very high for the small she had to offer, and asked for cash payment. we seen lots of red flags at this place to trust, and place my mother there.

Amazing services Amazing care
Hired Changing Everyday Lives to provide Care for dad, from 2018 to 2019. I was beyond impressed with the level of care given, particularly because it extended beyond the allotted daily time with the caregivers visiting him in the hospital. In such short time my father with bonded with the caregivers to level such comfort that it was as if they had been with my father for years. It was clear this was not just a job for the caregivers but a passion, my father considered them as friends. Tardiness or absenteeism was never an issue which was Important to me. As well prior companies I hired were unreliable in that area. I struggled with making time for healthier cooking, . They also motivated my father to attempt to help himself with daily tasks, something that I could never convince him to do. If I had to rate my overall satisfaction with the company on scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, I rate them a 10. I have already recommended changing Everyday Live to others as well.

Did not like the fact of so many phone calls from her, and the fact of three partners to come evaluate me and my home and needs. One partner should be enough, to make these decisions. Not acceptable! Also, calling at the last minute, 5 minutes before an appointment to cancel coming over that day.. She knew she had an emergency, at 12:00 noon. Why wait to call me. You have an appointment book, so use it, look it up, call the customer, then take it from there.
