She had lived at another bigger care facility that cared for around 50 people before the move. The bigger place was fine back when she could get around and needed little help from the staff. As she started needing more care they just were dropping the ball all the time plus jacking the rates to about double in seven years. So we moved to Camas Hills and could not be happier with the owner and the care givers. I live close by and go see mom about five times a week. They feel like family to me. It's very much a home for mom and not a warehouse for mom. She seems aways clean, happy and full of life living there and she is now 100 years old. My wife mom moved there for her end of live care and again the staff worked so hard to make her last days happy ones. If you have someone who is loud and has a bad temper don't bother trying to move there. I've never seen those issues in there care home. The most important thing for me was personal attention and high quality care as a real person, home cooked meals and a homey and comfortable atmosphere. This residence has it all. The care givers are very skilled as well as gentle and kind.\n\nAt Christmas, [name removed], the owner comes over and brings my Mom a gift and sits with her to open it. Camas Hills staff members help make sure all of your personal maintenance is taken care of, including off-site transportation to professional grooming services. If you want to get out for a bit and stretch your legs, we provide complimentary transportation to medical appointments and routine visits, outside events, shopping trips, and restaurants. Full-service laundry is provided, so you’ll never have to concern yourself with detergent or monitoring the wash cycle. Religious services are offered at the community, but if there is an outside congregation you’d like to join, residents can use our complimentary transportation services to travel to a nearby place of worship.</p> <h3>On-Site Care</h3> <p>The care staff at Camas Hills are fully trained and ready to aid our residents with injections and monitor their health markers to tailor medication dosages. We employ registered nursing practitioners who are uniquely qualified to provide insulin injections and other needed medications. Staff are able to monitor oxygen levels and other vital signs as well. We are also able to provide catheter, colostomy, and incontinence care so our residents can receive the aid they require in a dignified manner.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Camas Hills Care Home is licensed as an Adult family Home, which is defined as a facility that provides assistance with daily activities, health support services, and intermittent nursing services for two to six residents.
