Finding Adagio fit every criteria our family was looking for. We wanted a small, home-like setting, with window views, real quality meals, gentle & caring staff, and true owner involvement....plus a piano. Nothing is ala carte...schedules are not forced upon the residents, we decorated my parent's room to mimic her room at her home, and all of these things have made a transition from her home to a peaceful, quiet, neighborhood setting easier for her and us. She's totally acclimated now, her room is her "apartment", and the staff and other folks are her friends...she's social, she loves this. The new owners were not responsive to her needs or our requests as her family. Communication and pain management were huge problems. There was an enormous lack of sensitivity and understanding at a challenging time for my mom and our family. Don't put yourself or your loved one through this.

They’re just beyond wonderful. It’s nice because they have three shifts of staff, so they’re all fresh. I think the activities – my loved one doesn’t really do a lot of activities. They’re just super kind to the residents. They are super kind and caring and want to do everything possible for your loved one. They check in to make that everything went well and if you’d like anything different next time.

They were very nice private home converted for care. The woman who ran it was very nice. The staff was delightful. It wasn't a good match for my mom, it was a lot slower pace than what she wanted. I very much liked it, though.
