A Place for Mom Names Sue Johansen Senior Vice President of its Community Network

A Place for Mom, Inc. (APFM), has promoted Sue Johansen to Senior Vice President of its Community Network, and named her a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

In her new leadership role, Johansen will drive the strategy, operations, insights and analytics, and relationships across APFM’s network of more than 15,000 community customers.

“Sue is a customer-centric and results-oriented leader who brings a wealth of industry experience to our Executive Leadership Team,” said Larry Kutscher, Chief Executive Officer, APFM. “Our strong national community network is the backbone of our business to meet the personalized needs of the families we serve. Our continued investment will fuel more growth for our customers and our industry at large.”

With over a decade of experience at APFM, Johansen has held many leadership positions across the organization. Most recently she was the Vice President of Strategic Community Customers and prior to that she spent several years as a regional Vice President leading APFM’s Senior Living Advisor team.

“After ten years helping millions of families and caregivers, I couldn’t be more excited to lead our community network and continue to elevate the service we provide,” said Johansen. “I look forward to deepening relationships with our community customers as we continue to lift up and redefine the senior living industry.”

APFM is actively looking for a new Vice President of Strategic Community Customers to replace Johansen in her previous role.
