Settled on the edge of Rustic Timbers Park is the stunning, craftsman-style community of Holiday Pinewood Hills. Landscaped grounds, vibrant gardens, and paved walking paths stretch over the 22-acre campus. Residents can enjoy the weather on the patio or spend the day fishing at the nearby pond. Inside, residents have access to convenient services, three well-balanced meals, daily on-site activities, and several spacious communal spaces, including the bistro and game room.
Health and safety are Holiday Pinewood Hills’ top priorities. They offer 24-hour emergency response services and provide private, wheelchair-accessible apartment homes for all residents. Floor plans include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom options. For those who may require additional assistance, custom-tailored health and personal care options are offered by a third-party provider for an added fee.

This place is pretty good and has a good atmosphere. Our only complaint is the area outside of mom's unit. There's no grass left and it gets muddy. It really bothers her when she walks her dog and it's wet outside. We've talked to them about it, but nothing has been done yet. Housekeeping is often and they do a good job. The food is good, good quality and variety. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Pinewood Hills was our first choice over others that we looked at because of the location and also the value for the money. The apartment sizes are on the smaller side, the one my loved one has is a studio but I have not seen the others. I do think that they could improve on the consistency of the meals.

This is a really good community for independent living. So far we are happy and have been there for a month. We have not had any issues so far. My loved one so far is happy here and enjoys the activities. We had a little issue with the billing but it is being figured out.

Overall our loved one seems to be happy with the meals for the most part but the only complaint she has is that the menu comes from their cooperate office so all the facilities get the same food so they can't go out and buy new things from different vendors. They always have different activities going on, the activities director is great. We like the fact they have nurses on staff during the day all the time and that they bring in things like therapy, a nice salon, and they have a nice library. Only thing we wish was different is the person who comes to teach the art classes, we wish they would let the residents paint their own drawing and use their own interpretation instead of having to follow the teacher on every move.

Nice place, good interaction between staffers and residents. BUT....the place allows smoking in rooms and the smell filters into the hallways. Huge turnoff even to a previous smoker.

I looked at a lot of facilities in the area and I chose Pinewood Hills because of the value for the money. The apartment sizes here were really nice and spacious for independent living. She was in a 1 bedroom, the bedroom was huge, decent living room, an enormous amount of closet space, and small kitchenette area. It was more than sufficient for what she needed. Overall it was a great facility and I would recommend them to others looking.

The staff is courteous and responsive to requests. The food is good. The upkeep is good and the facilities are lovely. Plenty of activities. Management has been diligent and successfully keeping us free of Covid-19.

Pinewood Hills has done a great job of protecting us against covid-19. However, the meals lack something to be desired. They are getting a little better but it could be a bit more diverse, activity director [name removed] does a terrific job.

I enjoy the community. It should be a more independent clientele. With the covid-19, the management is doing the best possible to maintain the safety of the people here. The meal choices could be better.

I've lived here since [date removed]. In this 10 years, it has been all downhill, when it was sold [removed]. The food has gone downhill in both quality and selection. The cheapest meat buried in sausage and gravy with high salt. Housekeeping and maintenance have gone down due mainly to insufficient personnel. On weekends and evenings, it is especially bad. We have residents who do not belong and independent living. Can't even use washers and dryers correctly. A wonderful place that has been ruined.

They have taken very good care of us during the pandemic. They have activities, only 10 people most of the time, masked. I have chosen to stay home and not participate, which is okay with them. However, corporate with social input playing to open more because of pandemic fatigue and socialization. I don't think that is safe.
