I actually have told people that this is the best place they could move into. It's fun, it's clean, the staff are phenomenal and the food is actually really good.
They have had a lot of staff quit recently. There is a lot they promised that is not being delivered due to the staff not being there. They don't have a driver for transportation, they don't have a chef, and the housekeeping isn't getting done. The community doesn't have my loved one in the system for us to make payments online. The staff they have are awesome, they are just overwhelmed. This hasn't been what we had expected for our loved one, or been promised. The meals have consisted of pizza, hot dog, ravioli, and other items. The meals aren't balanced. The food isn't the best due to the chef not being in the community.
Madison Meadows is a very clean community. [name removed} and [name removed] are both very nice and wonderful. one thing I noticed is when the residents check in on their first day, they hand you your keys and you're pretty much on your own. you have to come back down and ask for an emergency call device, sheets, towels, etc. we also found that there was no toilet paper or trash bags in the room and we weren't aware that those things aren't provided by the community. I do think they could benefit from hiring an ambassador to make the residents feel comfortable since they are in a strange and unfamiliar environment. this could also help make the move in process an easier transition. the bus was out of commission for several weeks and during that time they should have rented a shuttle or hired a service so that the residents could still go shopping for their personal items. the only thing I've heard about the meals from my loved one is that they are served a lot of rice. that rice could be substituted out for something different maybe? the activities are very minimal and do lack in variety. they could take them for a scenic route or something, but for now they just take the residents to run errands and grab items from stores about three days a week. the housekeepers do a very good job and are nice people. out of all of the places we looked at, Madison Meadows was the least expensive. what drove our decision to choose this community was the price and the fact that everything is kept at a singular level.

The staff was very professional, helpful and accommodating during the tour and the move in process. The good thing is this is a smaller community. I'm very happy with our experience here. They have activities; however, they are limited due to the pandemic currently. My loved one is happy they are here.
There is nothing wrong with this community at all. They are the best. They worked with my loved one and compromised to make things work out the best. They even have there own life alert that they give to the patients they feel need it . They also have housekeeping that comes in every now and then to clean the bathroom and floor for the residents. Everyone was so friendly. The only thing we struggled with was getting someones attention at the front desk. There was not always someone there. Two to three days a week the van takes the residents to places that they need to go and then picks them up.
I liked this community. This was a great tour!
Private bedroom and bath activities daily chef on duty 7 days a wk. Bus to medical appointments and shopping trips once a wk.
I like our team
The residents who live here are great. But the experience with the administrative staff was not good at all. They are not good at making decisions and always have to escalate it to the upper management. The food is always served cold. They take a lot of people that need a lot more care so it does not feel like independent living. Based off my experience, I would not recommend them.
Ground level, swimming pool. Place is dirty and not moving. Rugs all need to be removed. Sidewalks bend dropping bad, pool deck dirty, short staffed. Told independent and its assisted and independent. What I was told and what it is, is different.
I have been here 1 1/2 months. I like it very much. As something I can afford on my social security, it works very well. With the slowdown of the pandemic they are starting make improvements. They work hard at making everyone feel at home. The kitchen is a little inconsistent both in food coming out and the time it takes to come out.
A lot has changed in the 12 years I have lived there. I remain in spite of many changes too much corporate influence in activities and food. Each community is different. Quality of food (meat, in particular has gone down).

December 3, 2021Hi Claire, thank you for taking the time to review our community. We regret to see that you were not satisfied with your experience in our community. They're not assisted living. They say that they are. But they're not. My loved one was constantly calling EMTs because Madison Meadows wasn't able to help her up when she fell. They said it was going to be a $5 charge to have her food brought to her room. The website says they have chef prepared meals, but the food is horrible. It's all out of a can / processed, and if you have dietary restrictions, it's terrible. The people who live there seem friendly. But the lady at the office is not. She even hung up on me one time. They also said they would provide transportation to medical appointments and to the chapel, and they weren't doing that either. So if you're not independent, then you shouldn't be there. It's nice that the apartments have outside entrances. There's a pool, a rec room, a salon, a library. Activities are pretty good. It has potential. But I think it has poor management right now. They also assured me there was a nurse they were paying hourly to help her with dressing, showering, etc. And they weren't' doing that either. I wouldn't send anybody there. She's also been in and out of the hospital while she's lived there, and they're still charging her rent.
Manager and employees provide residents love and care and they are very compassionate and understanding.
This is a small community and tight nit. The tenants get a long really well and get to know each other and help develop a since of community. My mother came from a different area and she is still very happy and you can not tell any difference.
We really liked Madison Meadows. It is an older facility, but when we toured they were in the process of updating it. All of the staff we spoke with were friendly and patient while we figured out where we were going to go. The only reason we did not choose this facility was because it was strictly independent living. We knew she would eventually need more care and we did not want her to make friends and then have to move.
I would tell others to come on board here. I would recommend the community to any of my friends. The staff is very aware of your condition, and as a result they either work with it or around it to make you feel comfortable here. The desserts are the best here! Our chef is really good at making desserts. The food overall could be improved.
I wouldn't mind living here when the times come. [name removed] helped get things into my loved one's room. The staff would call if there were any type of concern or question about my loved one. They were all really nice. The staff jumped in even when the service wasn't one we signed up for. The rooms were big. The closet was a normal size, and my loved one had a studio. The shower had rails and a walk in to make it easier for my loved one.
Our experience has been good so far we have had no complaints and the staff members are very friendly. Our loved one enjoys the meals and because of covid they are being delivered to their rooms, and he also really likes the social happy hours.
