Best Place For Mom
Very short stay as this was my mother's last two weeks of her life. We were not expecting her to pass, but in retrospect, All Comfort is the best facility we could have ever chosen. They got her involved and as independent as possible without sacrificing any of the critical care she need

DO NOT send your high-need loved one to this facility!!! They are expensive and under staffed, and, in my experience, this company preyed on the family of a very ill woman and used jargon and contract to extract as much money from her as they could. My mother lived there for two months, then passed while in the hospital. She was charged not only for the month she spent in hospital and rehab, they also charged her into the next month because they weren't given a specific move out date prior to my mother's death. In the communications that followed, the employees of All Comfort Care, LLC showed a lack of consensus about her care needs, dishonesty about what was and wasn't communicated at what times, and hostility toward the family for questioning their policies. Please spare yourself heartache and send your loved one SOMEWHERE ELSE.

in it for the money
DO NOT send your high-need loved one to this facility!!! They are expensive and under staffed, and, in my experience, this company preyed on the family of a very ill woman and used jargon and contract to extract as much money from her as they could. My mother was not mobile and needed a two-person assist to be turned and to get in and out of bed. All Comfort states that they can accommodate a two-person assist, but, in fact, there are never more than two caregivers for all 14 residents, which means that in order for that person to get both caregivers at once, no one else in the facility gets care during that time. After having lived at All Comfort for one month, my mother developed an infection and was admitted to the ICU for a week, followed by a stay at skilled nursing for rehab, after which she was re-admitted to the hospital and died two weeks later. She never did return to All Comfort after five weeks in the hospital and rehab. During my mother's time away from the facility Arlynn, the director, reassured us that All Comfort could accommodate a two-person assist upon her eventual return, yet the lead caregiver told us that they were not staffed to give her the level of care that she needed. The policy at All Comfort is to charge the full month's rent for a resident to keep their room, then credit back the days the resident did not receive care for that month. The base rate of $4100 holds the room. A level three care, as was my mother's case, was $6600. Arlynn knew that my mother was going on hospice at the hospital. She lied about having spoken with the family prior to mom's ultimate decline, saying she was surprised when we showed up to move her belongings out of the room. All Comfort said that because they weren't given a specific move out date prior to my mother's death, they added 5 days rent to the final bill. They did refund the care portion of the rent, as stated in the contract, but because of added days the amount was one third of what we expected. In communications that followed, the employees of All Comfort Care, LLC showed a lack of consensus about her care needs, dishonesty about what was and wasn't communicated at what times, and hostility toward the family for questioning their policies. Please spare yourself heartache and send your loved one SOMEWHERE ELSE.

only cares about your money
This place may look nice, but it is only surface deep. The management are only interested in your money and don't care about giving good care to your loved one. My mother lived there two months, then went to the hospital, where she ended up staying the entire month and then passed away without ever returning to all comfort. Not only did they charge us full price for the entire month she was in the hospital, they charged us into the following month for supposedly not giving "proper" notice. They knew of her condition but we didn't put it in writing. Lesson learned, but don't trust your loved one's care with a company that has "no duty to act in good faith" written into their contract!!! Should have been a big red flag!!

Overall Uncle Is Doing Very Well
When I moved my uncle into this community there was one thing that I did not like, he was not welcomed during his first week and I felt underwhelm. After things settled down he is doing okay and the people treat him well. The community is beautiful and very clean. The staff do what they are supposed to do and are really nice. Activities are available but I wish my uncle would at least see the common room that is sunny and beautiful with a view of Mt. Hood. It is a good community with good food.

Wonderful choice for mom
My Mother was a tough one to find a care residence for, picky, and unhappy about the circumstances that caused her to leave her old place. But I feel very good about finding All Comfort. It is smaller than most, but as professional , clean and conscientious as any. It has the feel of a home with a friendly caring staff. The managers of the facility are more than ready to listen to and take care of any concerns. I marked activities lower because with the small number of guests its just not possible to have the number of activities the larger places have, But the ones they have are great. It's only been a few months, but for now, and hopefully in the future it's wonderful!
