Terrible facility deserves zero stars
My mother wad admitted to this facility to try to help with back fracture PT. The therapy consisted of walking minor amount of steps up the hall. The rest of the day consisted of being confined to a terrible unsanitary room with terrible food delivered cold and no assistance in any other daily function. She is 83 and could have used some help with bathroom functions. She was on restricted water due to low sodium and was told that family had to bring in other types of fluids. She was also given new drugs that were not prescribed by a doctor but the nurse. I'm very sorry for the patients that live there. Although maybe they are the ones getting the attention since they are paying to live there in the terrible living conditions. On top of being discharged since insurance would not contract with the facility my mom came home with the flu. I could go on and on.

This is a horrible place
My father was placed into the facility they are horrible. Recently he tried for almost 3 hours to get help as he was wet and cold went as far as blasting the TV at an ungodly hour of the morning and no one care had placed his light on almost 3 hours prior yelled for help, finally he could hear someone in the hall and yelled again to where they came to help. Was they sleeping while he was doing this stuff how could they not hear him?????? Seriously, how would these people feel if it was them in his shoes. Prior occurances where he needs assistance with cutting up his food as he only has use of one hand they came in put yhe tray down and left. So tell me how is he supposed to cut his own food. Then more than one occasion AR this point multiple he was wet and they would leave him unattended for hours. What the heck I seriously hope that they don't think they should be paid for all these times. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR MY DOG TO STAY At.

HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT
A 1/2 star rating is too good for this place, but I had to enter something to write the review!
I would advise making alternative arrangements for any family member!! My family member was recently inpatient for rehab after major surgery, and I found this place an utter joke, and huge disappointment.
Upon walking in the front door, my olfactory senses were assaulted with the odor of dried urine, the entire establishment had a general look of disorderliness, and clutter in the hallways.When I approached someone to ask directions to the room, I was met with very unfriendly staff .
My family member had to recover from a major surgery that affected his upper left body, and I walked into his room to find staff trying to lift him by his left arm, causing extreme pain, when she asked someone to assist her, she was told by another staff member that they were "busy". Moments later it was found that the bed was not working correctly, there was a piece of furniture that had gotten logged between the wall and the bed, and was prohibiting the bed from working properly. The staff person did not seek any help in moving the piece of furniture, she just yanked it away causing the bed to plummet to the lowest position, jarring the patient and causing further pain!! She just said "sorry" walked out of the room, never to be seen again.
The staff had a general air of disgruntlement and unprofessional-ism amongst them, and no one was ready or willing to assist when assistance was required. Medications were always late, and the food was terrible.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone for any reason, and will write further letters to the State Department of Aging, as well to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN
PLEASE, SPARE YOUR LOVED ONE!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. A 1/2 star terrible rating is too good! My father was there recently for major surgery rehab.
Upon entering this establishments front door, my olfactory senses were assaulted by the heavy cloying odor of dried urine, NOT a good first impression. I couldn't find his room, and any staff that I approached for directions were very unfriendly, and unhelpful. Once I found his room, I was met with what I thought was a nurse trying to re position him in bed, his one entire side was compromised during his surgery, and that was the side that the individual insisted on trying to hoist him up on, causing undo pain. It doesn't stop there...the individual went to seek help and was met by someone who's reply was "I,m busy"...it gets worse...there appeared to be an issue with the bed, and upon further inspection, it was found not to be mechanical, but that there was a piece of furniture prohibiting the bed from functioning. The piece of furniture was abruptly removed, causing the bed to plummet to the lowest position, jarring the patient, causing intense pain!! In general, the staff was quite unprofessional, stand-offish and of no help or asset to the recovering patient. Pain medications were constantly late, the food was not fit for consumption. As family, we would ask questions and were frequently told, "This is my first day, I dont know" . In addition to my own family member, I felt sorry for the other residents that were sleeping slumped in wheel chairs, and who were made to endure the nasty urine odor during their dining hall experiences. I am also forwarding these concerns in greater detail to the appropriate agencies, related to health and human services.

Do not use this place!
Horrible place, mother has been in and out over last 6 years, has really gone down hill! Lazy staff, every time I am there, patients are in bed, you call for an aid when my mother has to use restroom , they don’t come, she ends up wetting herself, when you finally go to nurses station yourself, they are texting on their phones, or ignore you while you stand there, they begrudgingly get someone else to help you. Meals are always late and never what they r supposed to be, my mother goes down to rehab then sits in her room the rest of the time! Steer clear of this place! Go elsewhere!

They were nice enough, but.....
They were nice enough but, the aides had at least ten patients a day and 75 percent were bedridden because of broken hips or dementia or bad shoulders, they couldn't give full care. My mother fell out of the wheelchair at least twice before they finally moved her somewhere and but a special belt across her lap and there were doctors orders that were written from the hospital, and they didn't follow through with them. I don't think the left hand knew what the right hand was doing. She had some TED hose that she was supposed to wear and they were supposed to be on all the time, they took them off and washed them which was very very nice, when we came to visit they were hanging on the wash rack so they had gotten her up to go to PT and didn't have her TED hose on. They just aren't supervised well enough and I think that because each person that took care of her, they cared but they can only do so much. She had a special diet one time and the sign above her bed said water free diet, I asked the aide what that meant and they said I guess she can have as much water as she wants but it was a water restricted diet, so they didn't know what their terminology is. I could call the director of nursing or the charge nurse and tell them my concerns and 95 percent of the time they would change them.
