This is the most amazing option that I’ve seen in the market. I’ve been looking to move my mom closer to me for months and have explored everything. She wants and is able to live independently but needs some extra support and assistance. I finally found the perfect fit! Upside+ is the ideal option for mom. She gets to live in an amazing luxury apartment (not a depressing senior living facility) and get all the care and support she needs 7 days a week from certified caregivers and the incredible Upside team. And it’s way more affordable than home care. They walked me through every step of the process and make it all so easy. I now have peace of mind and she keeps her independence. I can’t wait to move my mom in and she’s thrilled to not have to go to a ‘home.’

We chose Fort Lauderdale Flagler Village because it fit our budget as well as the location.The apartment sizes at the facility are huge, new, and beautiful. I would give the staff members a 10 if I could. I would highly recommend to others looking.

I toured this community and it was good. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions. They seemed to offer a lot of activities. It was very clean and modern. However, it's a large place and too big for our loved one. She wouldn't have been able to handle walking so far from her unit to common areas, the pool, dining, etc. Not a good fit for her for that reason, but overall it was really nice!

There has been no staff communication with the family or our loved one since our loved one moved in and the new Case Manager hasn't called to speak to the family or our loved one since they came on board. [Name removed] was really good at taking the time to speak to me about their services at the beginning; however, he has since left. The staff stated they would take the residents for walks and outings; however, they haven't done this and they aren't following through on their promises.
