Mom is Happy!

The paricular house we're in, because it's a foster-type thing, I think they could improve their food. The gal is very nice and friendly and my mom likes her but I don't think she can cook. There were little things like th alarm on the front door didn't work and they fixed that. They're very responsive to you. They've done a good job of getting mom's toe nails done every week and hygiene things like that. I would recommend them. Mom is happy.

Review for Coral Springs RCF

Most of the staff, was very cordial, polite and helpful. They were very accomodating. It took over a week to get, my loved ones meds right. My loved one did not participate in the activities.

Our Tour

My parent was not happy with what they saw in the community. I let them be apart of the decision making. The room that was shown did not feel like the right one. We also saw that the residents here are more further along with their dementia and alzheimer . My parent know they would not be happy here.

Fine though the stay was short

The stay only lasted ten days dues to wrong placement. Everyone was great, the cleanliness as fine, though they could do better on their food preparation and lack of flavor in their food.

This place sucks

Admin only thinks of her self and ignores caregiver concerns. Only does something when it’s too late. Employees don’t know to bulid a relationship with their residents. Residents are left alone and ignored for several minutes.

I would not recommend this place

This isn't a Skilled Nursing Facility. They don't have the staff to supervise a elder with dementia or no mobility needs. I highly recommend that you don't place your elder here. They neglected to provide a safe and high quality of care for my loved one.

care giver restrained my mom and ignored her cries in pain

On day 4 of my mom's stay at the Sweet Bye and Bye I came to find her crying frantically while sitting in a wheelchair with a restraint seat belt tight against her belly. When I asked the caretaker what was going on she told me, in her limited English, that my mother was trying to take her shoes off and was in danger of falling out of the chair. I checked mom's feet and they were swollen and her shoes horribly tight. I asked if she was in pain, and wanted her shoes off, "yes!" she cried out. As I took her shoes off and removed the restraint the care giver told me my mom had been anxious, trying to walk too much, and needed more medication. She needed to be listened to and needed her shoes off. She did not have or need a wheel chair. I was shortly after told mom was too dangerous to live there as after that incident she pinched and stuck out at the caregivers. Rather than try to help her, they sent her to the ER via ambulance for a $1200 bill for the behavior. The owner then told me she couldn't return unless she was medicated. It shows me they were determined to restrain her either physically or medically. She was evicted for her "behavior" but we were more than happy to get her out of there. There have been absolutely no more "behaviors" since leaving. If someone told me to not walk, then put painfully tight shoes on my feet and tied me into a wheel chair, I suppose I would maybe become a bit "behavioral' as well.

Think twice about this place!

This place is awful! The staff is Not trained, the [name removed] only want your $$. My loved one was cared for- or should I say NOT cared for inadequately. You may find one or two people who actually care about the residents there but most of them do not. I would think twice before sending your loved one here. I have experience in this field and I can tell you these people do not!

Do Not Go Here

Not a good place to be. We had a person that we were paying a $100 extra that was suppose to be with our loved one all the time so that they did not fall and yet our loved one still managed to fall out of the bed while they were sleeping. The price is $6,700 a month for care services, but it seemed like there was no care services being provided. We had to complain jus to get them to provide care for our loved on. Their staff works schedules are something like 24 hour shift for 4 days straight and then 24 hours shift for 2 days. The individual that is on shift just has to sleep on the couch when getting some rest. They are sneaky and under handed people who do not know what they are doing half the time.
