Elderwood Administrative Services

My mom was really not interested in moving from her home when we first went Elderwood for a tour. After seeing the patio homes and talking with some of the residents, she told me to sign her up before we left the parking lot. She’s very happy there.

Best thing we did for my Aunt moving her to a patio home at Elderwood.

This has been a very positive experience for my Mother. The staff members are very attentive to her needs and they provide a good level of activity to keep her moving. For activities they have things like movie nights, bingo, outings to go shopping, live entertainment, and card games. There have been a few minor issues logistically when we first moved in, but they were corrected by management. They do charge a community fee but if you move out within 90 days they refund it. I would recommend this community to other families.

The community manager and residents we met were just wonderful. The homes were spacious and beautiful.

We liked the care that we received at this community. The staff were helpful. We like the atmosphere for her. The menu was appealing. Her room was very beautiful.This was a nice community for excellent care and other families might consider this for excellent care for a loved one.

Elderwood Residences at Wheatfield is a beautiful and well-maintained community. My dad has moved from a villa to an apartment, which I think will suit his needs better. The staff is very friendly and caring, they are very attentive to his care needs. The meals they provide are very good, he really likes the food that they serve. They have get-togethers, they recently had a 4th of July celebration that he enjoyed. They offer activities and transportation for him to go into town and other excursions. The outside landscaping is very nice and they provide seating for the residents to enjoy the fresh air. I would highly recommend Elderwood Residences to friends and family.

We like the care at this community. The staff has always been caring. The community needs to be kept up more. The menu was nice. They staff tried to get my mom involved with the activities that were available for the residents who wanted to participate. We would recommend this community for good care for other families.

The staff at Brookdale were wonderful! Kind, genuine and extremely helpful in this process!

Everything is working out well for my in laws since their move to this community. My wife, and I am very satisfied with their move here. This facility is working out very well. We know they are safe, and in good hands overall. This is a community I would recommend to family, and friends.

My aunt and I visited this location. It was clean, friendly, rooms were very nice. My aunt liked the location and it's very affordable in assisted living terms. They have a van service for doctor's appointments, and will have services (like PT) come into the location as well. They also allow small pets as long as the resident can take care of them. All in all, a great facility and one that is on our definite list!

I liked that when we first visited this community they took us around and introduced us to the entire staff. They explained everything and helped walk me through what to expect. The staff are great with my brother in law. They are always there to help. The administrators are doing a good job. He loves the food and the community is very clean. He likes to play bingo and enjoys movie nights. I would recommend this community.

I had no problems during my respite stay here. If I wanted to move into a community, I would go back.

When there was an open room available they called me and she was able to move in right away. Now everything is going good for my mom. At first the transition was slow but now she plays bingo or participates in the other activities. The staff are very attentive to the residents and my mom's needs. It is nice that they have all the residents go to the dining room for the meals. The community has given us a break by caring for our mom.

We went this community because on the tour we got a personal and different feeling, we did not feel like it was all business. They are fantastic and great place for my dad. As far as what I am told, he is still settling in. He is meeting a couple people and the staff take him to medical appointments. He is coming around and it is the best for him.

This organization really seems like they have a great group of people working for them. They have really helped my mother get adjusted into her new living environment and made sure to keep in good contact with me since I live out of state. She has had no complaints about the food and seems to love the breakfast and lunch they serve the most. [Removed] does a great job with the activity program and my mom has started to participated in a few of them to keep busy throughout the week.

The tour was great and we really liked the community. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. We got to visit with some of the residents that were there. The only reason why we did not have mom come here was the price.

My mother loves the Brookdale Fairport. She is active in all of the activities such as exercise programs, arts and crafts, music, sing-alongs, and movies. The fact that the place is small is our favorite thing, it makes it very family like. I love how they rotate the same staff and they serve the meals themselves. The consistency with faces is comforting to the elderly. The place is kept very nice and clean. The meals are amazing, and the chef is awesome. He holds meetings with the residents and takes suggestions on what they want to eat. He also takes their old family recipes and makes them. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
