Dorothy Cares Assisted Living Facility

Just wanted you and your staff how much I appreciate all that you do. It has been horrendous stress working with COVID patients at the hospital. I cannot begin to imagine if my mom was in a nursing facility and not being able to see her. That added stress would probably kill me. However, I know she is loved and BEYOND taken care of at Dorothy's. I am soo grateful and blessed that God led me to you. I love you all. Thanks again.????????

I could not have mom in a better place than Dorothy Cares Assisted Living Facility. The attention and care is indescribable, mom tells me she's spoiled there all the time. So blessed to have found this ALF. My aunt is trying to get in to their second location Dorothy Cares II ALF, but they always keep full. I recommend to get on their wait [removed]

About a month ago, I was able to do a tour at Dorothy Cares ALF and let me tell you, I was not disappointed at all. I would like to share my experience with you all, if you are looking for someone to care and love your loved ones. You really need to think about Dorothy Cares Alf, think about the quality over the expense. Because Dorothy Cares gives you an all in one package with love. The ALF was spotless with a fresh smell and the staff was very polite, smiling and most of all they treat the clients with respect. The interaction between the staff and the clients was priceless as I watch on. If I ever get to the place that I can’t care for my Mother or myself, we will be heading to Dorothy Cares ALF. This is a wonderful facility. The staff is attentive and caring, and the environment is always clean and safe. My mother was always happy and well cared for. The staff did a great job of communicating with us any changes in her health, demeanor or needs.

Toured both facilities and owner is very medically knowledgeable and runs two very nice facilities in the South shore area of Riverview. I was very impressed and residents with families had nothing but nice things to say.

Dorothy's Care is the best facility for many reasons. It is like "home away from home" with delicious home cooked meals and loving care from the staff. They should also win a reward for cleanliness. I can't thank them enough for doing such an excellent job taking care of my husband and I highly recommend them.

Dorothy Cares Assisted Living Facility In Riverview, Florida is an outstanding Care Facility! My husband was in need of more care than I could provide and this facility went above and beyond all my expectations. The home is beautiful and extremely clean with a garden and sun room that he really enjoys. The bedroom is large and very well organized. One of his favorite things about the home is the delicious home cooking! The pricing here is more than reasonable and the care he receives is fantastic! It was a miracle to find this home. The staff treats him as they would treat a family member and they have been so understanding and helpful to me as well. We had our mom at Dorothy's for about three years. At other facilities, mom was over-medicated, causing more confusion. Her memory improved when she became a guest with [name removed]. This home is kept pristine and pricing is very reasonable compared to other options-- especially since guests receive much more individual attention. Later, when mom's memory did fade, the gentle, caring nature of [name removed] and all of her helpers was a great comfort to us. (My brother was horrified at other 'memory care' facilities he'd visited as they smelled, were depressing, and guests were ignored.) The thoughtful attention my mom received at Dorothy's was phenomenal. My mom considered [name removed] as more of another daughter. The love and care that she received was such a blessing and something that no money could buy. It was a gift. Mom was made to feel special. Thoughtful little things were done for her. As I live at a great distance, they would send photos of mom opening my cards and presents and she always had a huge smile. These would touch my heart and mean so much to me. With my mom's passing, we take great comfort in knowing that she was loved and cared for in the very best way possible. [Name removed] is an absolute angel with the biggest heart and loving nature. She selects staff who are also caring. We could not be more grateful for the loving care that our mother received at Dorothy's.

Residents and staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful neighborhood. Homes is very clean and roomy - easy to get around in all the rooms. I like the garden out front and the large sun room out back.

We highly recommend Dorothy Cares Assisted Living Facilities of Riverview to anyone that is tired of having their parent at a larger facility, paying a lot more and not getting the services that were promised! I changed my mom to this smaller ALF setting and that was the best decision for her. She has been happier and improving since she's moved in. The nurse administrator and staff are lovely and so caring, I couldn't be any more satisfied!

This is a highly recommended Assisted Living Facility coming from a very satisfied family member to a resident that has been under Dorothy's care for a couple of years now. House is kept cleaned, the smell of the home cooked meals make you feel at home and the personal attention mom gets here is like no other. Staff treat resident like their very own family, we just love it here. They have another location that has been doing great as well.

This home was as close as possible to having my Mother cared for as if she was still with my family. All residents are cared for and loved on as if they were family. [Name removed] was like having a sister watching over Mom. She always kept me informed and sent me pictures.

Dorothy Cares was a wonderful place for my mother. [Name removed] was great and her staff was also special. I presently volunteer my time to sing gospel music at both her facilities once a month. Great people!!

This is the best home my mom has been in. Everyone is very attentive and take very good care of mom. I am very happy with the way mom has gotten better since she has been here. This is a 5 star facility. Thank you very much.

I recently toured these communities and currently on a wait list. I loved both locations, cheaper than larger facilities or health care at home. Owner is so dedicated, involved and I love that she's a name and knowledgeable. Can't wait to get my family member at either location

This has been the best decision for our mother, the attention and love she gets from [name removed] and her staff is just amazing. She goes way and beyond and we're appreciative she's accommodated late hour visits while our family where visiting from out of town. I've visited both homes and you get that comfy feeling the moment you get there. I cannot say enough good about Dorothy Cares ALFs, you will not regret your decision in placing your parent [removed]

I would give a 10 star rating if possible. The owner and staff could not be any more kind and caring. My mom is happy, kept healthy and safe. Previous two places, they over medicated and really did not have any concern for my mother's health. At Dorothy's, they watch mom so carefully, that she does not have health problems like she used to at two other assisted living facilities. She loves her daily, or twice daily, walks. This home is immaculate too. Absolutely no odors. The nurse owner cares for each of her guests as extended family and she trains her staff to do the same. Living across the country, I am so grateful to have these angels to care for my mom. My mom's face lights up when the owner comes into the room. Where else can you say the same?

I had to find a place rather quickly as I had been diagnosed with bc. I was led to [name removed]'s new location and I am so glad I was! The staff is very caring, warm and kind to all. Clean, good food, homelike atmosphere. And [name removed] is so caring also.

Toured both of Dorothy's facilities and I must say I was extremely impressed!!!! Felt very comfortable, clean environment, saw the involvement & care with the residents, the smell of fresh home cooked meals and best part was the reasonable pricing for the care. I am currently on a wait list keeping fingers crossed to bring dad here.

This provider is the ideal situation in terms of atmosphere, location, and price.
