My mom loves it at Golden Pond.At first, my parents were not happy about having to move. But now that Dad has passed, Mom is glad to have friends and activities to fill her days. The food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Transportation to doctor appointments and shopping is a plus. I would, and have, recommended them.

So I contacted A PLACE FOR MOM to get a recommendation of places near them. Golden Pond was recommended. The place was bright, clean, friendly, not stinky, and most importantly to my mom, they had a 2 bedroom apartment available. The food in the dining room is delicious. The staff is caring and attentive. The activities are varied and fun. There is transportation to doctor appointments and shopping trips. My parents weren't very happy having to move out of their house, but now they feel comfortable in their new home. Yes, it's more expensive than living in their house. But they get three meals a day plus snacks anytime. They get laundry service, house cleaning service, activities, and nursing services if needed. So, I think it's worth it. Thank you for recommending them.

I had a good tour experience overall with Ramsey Village, but I felt that the facility had more of an old and depressing atmosphere. That was the main reason we did not choose that facility.

We toured with Inglenook at Brighton and really liked this facility - it was a close second option for us.

My parents love it there. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The apartment is beautiful. The only reason I rated activities down a little is because we thought there would be accommodations for travel to places like Hy-Vee, CVS, etc. But otherwise they have plenty of activities.

I highly recommend golden pond. The staff is so very sweet and accommodating. My mom has special needs and they have been so helpful in meeting those needs. We think golden pond is the perfect fit for our family.

The staff at Peninsula Reflections is truly wonderful. We had just days to choose a memory care center and were so lucky to find Peninsula Reflections. Every member of the staff got to know my dad - they learned to make his favorite tea, what he liked to do in the afternoon and more importantly - they respected his wishes while taking excellent care of him. It is not the fanciest memory care center we saw but the staff is wonderful. The communication was great and we felt that Dad was safe at all times. When he stopped eating, the chef and other staff tried all different things to help him - including running to the bakery for muffins. He was safe, well-cared for, and respected there. We liked that they had quite a number of men and were very experienced with dementia patients.

The staff were friendly and they were easy to get into at this community. They were very caring and kept my loved one informed the whole time he was in there.

We are very pleased with the service. Mom has been in and out of the hospital while at Ramsey and the staff are all accommodating. Questions are answered swiftly and staff is quite friendly.

This is a family environment community. They genuinely care for the people that they serve and they are willing to go the extra mile. They have activities like bingo, movie night, contest during different holidays, entertainment that comes in and more for the residents.

The continuing care here is great, it is invaluable. They have everything from independent living all the way to skilled nursing. The overall atmosphere is more of a hotel like appearance. We would definitely recommend them to others looking.

My mom and dad moved in about 5 months ago. They are very well cared for by the Golden Pond staff. We are very please with our decision. Some of the other places were too big and we felt our mom and dad weren’t getting good attention from the staff at the other homes. They need more medical care now and are looked after well. Mom was not happy about leaving her home. The staff has been amazing working with her and there is so much to do she has settled in well.

Very informative. Lots of information to process but presented well. It was enjoyable to visit and see what is offered for older citizens.

My sister is very happy being here. She is doing the activities and enjoying them. The staff is fantastic very kind and friendly and they are willing to communicate with me to let me know how my sister has been doing. She is eating all the food from what I have been told by the staff so I am assuming she likes it.I have found the community to be clean and well kept. I would recommend them highly.

I toured this community. I was able to have my questions answered. I like that the community is clean and maintained. The menu was appealing and the staff was attentive. They do offer a list of activities that are offered to the residents who want to participate. We would suggest that they tour this community for the care of a loved one and for the needs that are required.

I like the care that is being. The staff is great and we like that they are friendly and keep us informed on his progress. We know that he is happy with the variety of meals that are offered. He likes the variety of differnt activities that are offere to help him participate with the other residents. We would recommend this clean and nice enviroment for other families.

The food at Inglenook is great and they offer a good variety. The community is very clean and the staff are great with my mom and the family. I would recommend this community.

How lucky we are to have this facility in Brighton! Inglenook recently opened this Memory Care wing and they spared no expense and researched the programs to place in this wing of their Assisted Living community. The staff goes out of their way to help your family member and to meet the needs of the individual and other family members. My husband is happy there and the meals and snacks provided are very good. The doctors and nurses on staff are wonderful and have helped to make the transition from home to Inglenook a wonderful experience for all of us. We especially like the room/apartment layout and the great room, dining room and large patio areas. The small unit size allows for lots of individual attention for your loved one.

The apartments could be cleaner; it seems they don't dust or do more than basic cleaning and I feel it should be more consistent. Some of the staff that is in upper management tend to ignore families that want to ask questions. Other than that, I like it, and my mom seems to love it. She is happy, and they treat her very well and her kind to both her and our family.
