Brookdale

My mother has flourished since coming to Brookdale 3 years ago. She is always happy and smiling. She enjoys the activities and the meals are great. It has been a wonderful experience for everyone. Thank you to the incredible staff!

I love going to see the residents in Brookdale and enjoying the "family night dinner" with them and craft projects. Also, an outstanding staff and program.

All the staff are pleasant and respectful. the shuttle driver is great and personable Food- it's just not what she likes and sometimes they have a chef that doesn't cook well but the director listens to the residents council and tries to fix it. also sometimes the menu doesn't match what is served. It is a pet friendly facility. I would recommend Brookdale Allenmore to others.

It was an amazing experience. She unfortunately came down with pneumonia last September and declined bed bound and then ended up on hospice and couldn't return. The staff at Brookdale Monroe were very attentive and kept me very informed and were super polite and even would check in with me when she was no longer a resident.

I am confident we chose the best place for Mom when we picked Brookdale. The cleanliness of the facility is excellent. Mom is not always 100% satisfied with how her room is cleaned, but she's always been a meticulous housekeeper, and her expectations are very high in that regard. I see no problems. One thing that's indisputable is the friendliness of the staff. It was the first thing I noticed during my initial tour, and my subsequent experience proves it was not just for show. Everyone is kind, welcoming, courteous, friendly AND professional. They treat Mom like a member of the family. Exceptional! I am very happy with the quality of care; not just the care that Mom gets directly, but the fact that I am always kept abreast of any new developments. The nursing staff has never failed to answer my questions and address my concerns with saintly patience. The attention to Mom's physical, mental, and emotional needs is outstanding. The food is excellent in quality, preparation, and variety. The staff has been kind enough to let me join Mom for meals on occasion, so I can vouch for this first hand. Portions are generous; Mom said she almost always has something left over because she was too full to eat it. I gave a 3 for activities because there is not a lot of variety from day to day. This may be because their activities director quit abruptly and has not been replaced yet. I hope they will do crafts and at least bi-weekly outings when they find a new one. I consider our value for money a 5 because we were lucky enough to get a permanent discount for moving Mom in during the winter. At normal price, I'd be tempted to give a 4 until the activities improve, and then a 4+. The base price is higher than the Ohio average, and extra fees can really add up. Please note, though, I am not dissatisfied, nor do I have any complaints. The most important thing is that Mom says it's a great place to live. She misses her friends and her old life, but aside from that she is content and happy with Brookdale and all it has to offer.

I have participated in events here several times. Always so very nice. The chef is the best.

The Brookdale Orange Park staff is absolutely wonderful. They all [names removed] have been so very supportive of mom, and my brother and I as well. Mom did have a period that was difficult to transition from her completely independent home life to Assisted Living outside of her home. We could not ask for a better living situation than Orange Park Brookdale!

I would recommend Brookdale Manlius to others. My dad was borderline acceptable to their criteria, but they accepted him and were wonderful about it. He lasted about 40 hours there. Finally able to come to peace and passed away in his sleep there. They could not have been better to go through that with. We are very very thankful for that facility and the people there.

With Brookdale Troy, we instantly felt like family.[Names removed] are fabulous! Very knowledgeable and helpful! [Name removed], the "go to guy" is awesome! He helps everyone and we appreciate all he has done for us on the move-in day to the random fixes that my dad has needed. [Name removed], the nurse, is super sweet and dad immediately liked her. Dad needed his toe looked at, and the doctor was there the very next day. The entire staff is very friendly! And I truly appreciate each and every one of them for what they do. The food/menu seems delicious to me. Dad thinks it's a little bland. I understand you're catering to all of the residents, so I get it. One thing dad always mentions is he wishes for more chocolate ice cream! Ha! (Don't we all though?) Move in was a breeze! [Name removed] was at the door to greet us and had a little 'welcome basket' waiting for dad! [Name removed], like I said was amazing! I would highly recommend Brookdale Troy. It's not all glitz and glamor, but it makes up with the cozy at-home feeling!

Brookdale Peachtree is a wonderful place. The employees are so caring. My mother loves it. The food is okay. Nothing exciting. Communication was a learning curve, but are getting there. All and all, I would definitely recommend them. They do only her laundry and return it to her room. They help make up her bed. She is in a wheelchair, so see needs assistance using the toilet, showers etc. They take her to her Dr. Appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday. Otherwise, I have arrange for a transport.

The staff are awesome. They genuinely care about the residents and their families. Mom really likes it there. She is doing so much better. We're very pleased with our experience so far.

Brookdale was a smaller community. Staff is very friendly and they made us feel at home. The location was perfect for my siblings and I. Since it's location was just right for us all to get to quickly.

All of the staff at Brookdale Corona are very compassionate. The facility itself is secure. They have two separate outside areas for the residents. They also have a lot of great activities provided.

MY FATHER LIVED AT BROOKDALE FOR 6 MONTHS. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. THE DINING ROOM IS WELL DONE AND SERVED AS A SOCIAL TIME FOR FATHER. BROOKDALE IS A GREAT BARGAIN FOR WHAT IS PROVIDED

Staff is fantastic. Always helpful, remembers everyone's name very quickly. Food is very good.
