Well, we had 3 caregivers overall in 3 weeks. Two of them were better than the other one. The only thing I didn't quite like is they didn't take a lot of initiative to do things, but they did things when asked. But we really liked [name removed] and she was very responsive and on top of how her staff was doing. She checked in frequently and communicated. I would recommend them overall, but it might take a couple of aides for a family to find a fit that's best for them, especially if it is long term.

We have only had one caregiver from the time my loved one returned home until present day and she's been great. She started October 11 at 4 hours a day, 6 days per week. And as my loved one has gotten better, we only have the caregiver 3 hours for 2 days a week. A Place at Home is very good at what they do and I would recommend them.

Senior Helpers was very good at matching staff to my mother's temperament, which was critical for this arrangement to work. Communication is easy via text, call or email and Senior Helpers is very responsive. We did have an issue with one caregiver, who ended up quitting. Either the caregiver misunderstood her duties or the duties were not adequately communicated to her by Senior Helpers. That was unfortunate, but Senior Helpers quickly found a replacement. I feel like our needs are being met and I would recommend them to others.

They were wonderful, all of them. I would not have been able to have made it through everything without having the support that they gave me and my mother. It takes special people to want to do their job, and I am so thankful for them and what they do. It is such a difficult situation to deal with and they were incredibly helpful in helping me throughout the entire process and have been there for me even after my mothers passing. My experience has been wonderful with Seniors Helping Seniors. They have so much compassion for what they do. My 94 year old mother really likes her caregiver. They matched her with a wonderful lady that she enjoys being with. She's great with mom from helping her bathe to fixing her dinner. Sometimes they sit and talk, which is a good thing for her. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone.
