Reno balances the Las Vegas-style entertainment experience with the rugged aesthetic of the Southwest. The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) is in charge of public transit within the cities of Reno and Sparks, as well as Washoe County. There are 23 lines that service these areas, along with a regional connector line that travels to Carson City and Meadowood Mall. There are also a number of shuttles that service the hotels, and can pick you up to take you to dinner and a show.
