Independent Living

If you would like the convenience of having housekeeping and chores taken care of while living at your own pace, consider an Independent Living Community. Residents may live their lives as they desire while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and recreational activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to utilize the services of private medical professionalls, they may always do so. There are a number of advantages and costs to consider when choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are covered in your service plan: housekeeping, Waiting list deposit, utilities, laundry, cable TV, initial assessment fee, wellness program, and internet access. The benefits associated with independent living include golf course, security guards, laundry service, concierge services, fitness center & swimming pool, game/TV room, healthcare center, and transportation.
